Australian Curriculum: Language: phonics and word knowledge


Read and write a large core of high frequency words including homophones and know how to use context to
identify correct spelling (ACELA1780)

LI: I understand that homophones are words that sound the same as one another but have a
different meaning and a different spelling.

SC: I can use meaning and context to determine the spelling of homophones.
