The Christian culture

A Christian is a believer in God, religion and its teaching. Becoming one entails reading

the bible accepting that God exists and accepting Jesus Christ as a personal savior. The Christion

hood has norms and believes that are followed by the believers as outlaid in the bible teachings

and ten commandments. And to be a fully member one must be baptized.

To become a Christian, you must be willing to learn and accept the bible teaching and

using the bible for refence in our day to day actions. On the onset, one is taught about the bible

and the love of God. how the world was created by God to become into being. Teachings of what

God expects us of him in our lives in this world also are taught.

Before I thought of becoming one, I met a group saved youths who introduced me into

the Christian culture, telling about the love of God through salvation on the cross to redeem

mankind from sin. The existence of a supernatural being protecting us on daily basis without tire

spiked my interest to knowing more about God. The trinity coexisting between God, Jesus Christ

and the holy spirit all in different forms but working together for the better of mankind. I too

understood that all the sufferings in the world are due to sin brought along by Satan, but when all

is over heaven is promised to those who would have overcome him.

When I joined a nearby Christian congregation, I was appointed a spiritual leader who

was well conversant with the bible to take me through the bible teachings. At first, I was

reluctant because everything sounded new but later on, I found my lessons awesome as I

discovered more. I learnt how to praise God through singing and proclaiming his will to his

people all over the world in reference to the bible.

In the whole process of learning the Christian culture and practicing it, I discovered the

various Christian virtues, norms, and practices. I understood how people should coexist among

others in a Christian way. The fruits of the holy spirit too are taught to be joy, peace, kindness,

faith and love. There exists rules and laws to followed as stipulated by the ten commandments.

Christianity’s defining moments is when you are baptized and given a Christian name.

after learning the bible and gaining enough knowledge about God and accepting Jesus into your

life, one is prepared for baptism, a ceremony to for new Christians to be accepted fully into the

Christianity and given new Christian names. This happens by being immersed in water just as

Jesus was, and its believed that during this moment one is washed off all of his/her sins and is

reborn as a Christian and given holy spirit by God.

All Christians are called upon to preach the gospel to all the world preaching about the

love of god and second coming of Jesus Christ to take with him the chosen ones, pure at heart

Christians to heaven where he is making them a home, where they will live with their creator

God. They are required to follow the ten commandments while living in the world. A Christian

should pray to God daily without stopping for the world is full of evil.

In conclusion, Christianity is way of life where members accept to read and follow the

bible teachings. This is where they learn about existence of God, Jesus and the holy spirit in the

Godly trinity. To become fully Christian, after teaching and accepting Jesus one is baptized and

given a Christian name. henceforth as a Christian one is filled with holy spirit and its fruits,

where he starts to praise God and proclaiming his good will to other people.
