INTRODUCTION new roads, or separating grades (positioning road
lanes above or below existing ground level lanes). Roads are the veins the economy pumps into. Roads are crucial to any development agenda by connecting CALABARZON Traffic Management Plan producers to markets, staff to jobs, students to 2017-2022 defined volume capacity ratio as the ratio schools, and the sick to hospitals. Furthermore, traffic congestion has always
been an ongoing problem, particularly on major roads such as those in densely populated metropolitan areas 2. OBJECTIVES such as Batangas City. The congestion problem is not Generally, this study aims to provide analyzed data easy to deal with, and a variety of solutions have been that will help improve the road management and may suggested and implemented to address the challenge. also give an idea on implementing support These solutions require that existing traffic infrastructures aligned with the industrialization and assignment models be created or improved. to enhance traffic flow in Batangas City. According to Villarete (2018), the most logical move to combat traffic congestion is to increase road space. Specifically, this is also focused on Increasing road space can mean many things — determining the relationship that exists between the widening the road (usually by adding lanes), building vehicle volume, industrialization and traffic density in Batangas City.

With this, the Rate Volume researchers used data analysis tools such as Industrialization correlation method and regression analysis. rate 1 Using the gathered data, first, correlation Vehicle method was used to know the significant relationship between industrialization and number volume 1 1 of vehicles as well as the relationship between industrialization and traffic density in Batangas City through Microsoft Excel. Correlations between these variables are important because they indicate Table 2 indicates the correlation between some underlying relationship between them. industrialization and traffic volume in Batangas City. Table 1 shows the correlation between
industrialization and vehicle volume in Batangas City. It depicts that there is a positive linear relationship between the industrialization and vehicle volume of the city in 2016-2018. This will help analyze certain matters involving the used variables.
Table 3 details the summary output of regression
statistics between industrialization, vehicle volume and traffic volume in Batangas City. It depicts that the strength of the relationship between the relative movements of the variables is 0.40872648 which says there is a moderate/weak positive relationship that exist in them. While the coefficient of determination which has 0.185651239 represent the proportion of the variance in the vehicle volume and industrialization that is predicted from the data of traffic volume. On the other hand, there is -0.425110332 for the adjusted R square and 34.71064667 for the standard error. Through this, the researchers identified which variables have impact on a topic of interest. The process of performing a regression allows them to confidently determine which factors matter most, which factors can be ignored, and how these factors influence each other that can also help in some other fields.
5. CONCLUSIONS With the results of the study, the following conclusions were drawn.
Based on the analyzed data, it implies that
there is a positive significant relationship of industrialization to the vehicle volume and traffic volume wherein there is a moderate/weak positive relationship that exist in them thus, this clearly reveals that industrialization strongly affect vehicle volume and traffic density in Batangas City. This can be used in improving road management and may also give an idea on implementing support infrastructures aligned with the industrialization and to enhance traffic flow in Batangas City.
