 General terms & conditions for supply of valves

DELIVERY TO BE DISSCUSED MUTUALLY.

PRICE BASIS Ex Works, Pune

PACKING & 2% Extra for local packing. For Export packing charges will be extra
FORWARDING

FREIGHT Transport charges will be in your scope

PAYMENT Immediate against proforma invoice
INSURANCE You will arrange insurance of the consignment if required.

VALIDITY Unless stated otherwise, or extended in writing subsequent to submission of offer, our offer
shall remain valid for one month only from the date of offer.
TEST Each VALVE will be tested Hydro statically as per API 598 standard. Any addition test will be
extra as applicable, Painting will be in your scope.

INSPECTION We shall accept Third Party Inspection by M/S. BV/DNV /TUV /PDIL etc. The inspection charges
will be in your account as actual incurred.

The scope of inspection will be as under:

1) Verification of Foundry Certificate for physical/chemical properties of the
Casting/Forging.
2) Hydro-test of Valve.
GUARANTEE/ Our Valves shall carry a guarantee/Warranty for a period of 18 months from the date of
WARRANTY dispatch or 12 months from the date of commission whichever is earlier only and shall cover
free cover free replacement due to defective material, faulty design, or inferior workmanship.
The same shall exclude our total liability due to improper handling, storage, faulty
erection/operation overload and normal tear and wear. No consequential liabilities or
damages are accepted by us.
CANCELLATION No cancellation/Alteration is acceptable after placement of order/FOA/LOI. THEREAFTER it will
ALTERATION be prerogative to consider any alteration.

ARBITRATION Any dispute or difference arising between the parties hereto in connection with the contract
or obligations of the parties there under, shall be referred to arbitration, in accordance with
the Indian Arbitration Act 1940 or any statutory modifications or re- enactment thereof. The
arbitration will be given to Engineering Association of India or Relevant Chamber of commerce.

JURISDICTION Contract will be subject to Pune, INDIAJurisdiction. For
