1 a) “Strategy is an emergent process.” Justify 04
b) Pick the current or a past president of the United States and evaluate his performance 8.5
against the leadership characteristics discussed in the text. On the basis of this
comparison, do you think that the president was/is a good strategic leader? Why or why
not?

2 a) As a new start up entrepreneur, you have a desire to start value creation in 03

telecommunication industry. Thus, analysis external environment through life cycle
approach for secure investment and sustainable performance in competitive avenue.

b) A beauty soap company has designed a soap in the market, with complementing COVID-19 9.5
antiseptic ingridents. This soap packaged with antiseptic element to safe the customers and
retailers. As a strategic leader of competitive company, What will be strategic choice for your
company to make barriers to capture market share by new entry company? What will be
attactk of this new company offering in the existing competitors?

3 a) A multinational company has started its new business and committed to achieving superior 8.5
profitability for its stakeholders. This company now looking for a strategic leader who can
work for building a competitive advantage for achieving superior profitability. As a
candidate, you are selected as a strategic leader and how can you build a competitive
advantage for your company? Make details of your logic with example.

b) Abul khair company limited has designed a strategic map for their SBU (Starship). But, 04
after long term operation, this SBU currently failed to implementing new strategies and
achieving target goal. Top management decided to appoint new, operation director for
overcoming this situation and reporting corporate level management about reasons of
failure of this SBU. After a long time searching, Abul Kahir Limited appointed you and
delegate for submission of report. Now, you are formally appointed to report, about the
reasons of strategic failure with relative justification.
