Steel / Welding standard :

➢ All Steel work all welding is a minimum 6mm continous fillet Mig Welding.
➢ Type autocraft LW1-6
➢ Class AS2717.1 ES6-GC/M-W503AH AWS A5.18: ER70S-6
➢ Wire size (mm) 0,9mm precision layer wound

Material :
➢ All exterior and interior surfaces are fabricated in 8mm - 6mm mild steel standard. The eight (8) floation cells
are individually pressure -tested after completion.
➢ Complete fitted with Buffle on the interior of pontoon fabricated in 6mm

E Skid Runners : E
➢ Pontoon base is mounted on two (2) full lenght skid runners fabricated from UNP Joint for supporting the pontoon on
the pontoon on the ground. The skid runners are fitted with wear plate thickness 16mm. The skid
runners extend to a
depth below the pontoon hull.

Proof Plate:
➢ Securely attached plate 20mm, stating the unit weight.

Pushbar :
➢ At one end of the pontoon, a Bulldozer pushbar fabricated from heavy wall pipe 200 NB Schedule 80 S.M.L.S. the pushbar
extend out from the pontoon.

Decking:
➢ All deck plates, including access covers are from 6mm checker plate floor plate to provide a non-skid surface.
All access covers are sealed using 5mm gasket, fastened with 12 only1/2” CAD plated bolts.

Bollards:
➢ Four 150mm high by 100mm diameter mooring bollards with 25mm diameter cross bars are provided to each comer of
the pontoon.

Lifting points:
➢ Lifting points are fitted to each end of the decking. These are also used as tie off point.

Safety handrails:
C ➢ The safety rails will be galvanize pipe schd 40 with 32mm and 25mm. The kick rail is fitted beneath C
all hand rails with strip plate FMS 100mm x 6mm.
➢ Entry point to the decking are each end the pontoon.

Pontoon Interior Protection:

➢ All interior compartments are coated to provide corrosion resistance. The interior coating is a light refined oil base,
designed to give long-term protection to exposed steels, Internasional Paint - Intertuf 16/black-high catalysed epoxy
minimum thickness 50 micron pm dry.

Pontoon paint Work:

➢ Pontoon Hulls - Internasional-interzone 954 HS/black high build catalyzed epoxy.
➢ Pontoon Decks - Internasional-interzone 954 HS/black high build catalyzed epoxy.
➢ Pontoon Hadrails - Internasional-Intertine 990/yellow catalyzed acrylic enamel.
