WHAT IS THE CHANGE THE WORLD MUN
VIRTUAL EDITION
The Change the World MUN (CWMUN) Virtual Edition is the first UN simulation in
the world that takes place online and reserved to school and university level
students.

It is organized by Associazione Diplomatici, that has been been running the biggest
MUN network in the world for over twenty years: the Change the World – World
Program, that annually takes place in New York, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Rome and
Singapore. In the most prestigious locations like the UN Headquarters, the FAO
Headquarters, the NYU-Abu Dhabi Campus and the rooms of the Italian Parliament.

WHAT IS A MODEL UN? THE DIFFERENCES

A Model United Nations (MUN) is a simulation of the Our Virtual Model UN is an entirely digital

 TEAM CHALLENGES
Team Challenges definitely represent a super new thing to the CWMUN Virtual Edition.
All participants in the CWMUN Virtual Edition, besides their country/committee
assignment, will be assigned to a team of 30 students with whom to participate in fun
online challenges. All the teams will be competing and their goal is to win by collecting as
many points as possible to climb the ranking. The winning team will get fantastic
benefits and will enter straight away to the "CWMUN Virtual Edition Best Of", the
simulation between the strongest delegates ever.

AWARDS

Each member of the winning team access to the "CWMUN Virtual Edition Best of". The winning
team access to the  "CWMUN Virtual MUN Best of"; will be declared the winning team of the
simulation and get a special bonus for the participation to the next edition of the Change the
World Events in New York (March 2021), Singapore (May 2021) or in the United Arab Emirates
(November 2020).

- as it is based on Facebook - but at the same
time very powerful. It is already used by many
organizations, including the World Health
Organization (WHO), and is an ideal
communication tool for teams working VIRTUAL

includes advanced functions such as the
possibility of working simultaneously with
writing documents, sharing content with
one's colleagues and carrying out video
meetings at any time. Pre-settings of
Workplace® will be available to all
participants of the CWMUN Virtual Edition.

tutorials to quickly learn to use this powerful
tool.

BECOME THE PROTAGONIST

OF THE DEBATE!
Zoom®  is the video conference software
where simulation sessions are held. It
guarantees exceptional clarity and quality and
ensures that everyone can participate equally
whether with your computers or
smartphones. It will be your opportunity to
impress other students with your skills as a
speaker, follow the debate within your
Committee, carry out negotiations in real time
and vote for the Resolutions, just like in a
standard Model UN.
HOW TO GET PREPARED:
E-DELEGATE COURSE
2-HOUR WEBINARS FROM OCTOBER 5 TO 12

The e-Delegate Course is your starting point to become a UN delegate. The online
course, held in English, is divided into 4 webinars with one of the tutors of
Associazione Diplomatici. Additionally, more contents will be also available on our e-
learning platform. The course offers a general overview of the role and structure of
the United Nations and provides the knowledge and skills needed to successfully
join this experience. The training is also enriched by the participation of politics, law
and economics, diplomats, journalists experts as well as the CWMUN Alumni.

E-LEARNING PLATFORM
Getting ready is simple and useful by accessing our E-Learning Platform
available via computer or smartphone. You will find videos, in-depth documents
and tutorials. You will soon become an expert and will be ready to join the
simulation successfully using the best of your technology skills. You can also
share opinions as well as e-meeting the other members of the CWMUN
community.

LIVE WEBINAR SESSIONS WITH ONE OF OUR TUTORS

Attend our real-time virtual classes led by our tutors by joining your virtual
classrooms. The entire course of the CWMUN Virtual Edition will facilitate your
