Internal security is key for economic and political stability of a nation to ensure
uninterrupted development and growth. It is vital to ensure that democratic process and
institutions of governance remain functional and resilient. To know more about the
challenges faced by India in the matters of Internal security, an awareness program on
Internal security is being organized. Two eminent speakers shall speak on the subject
matter.

1. Sri R. S. N. SINGH (RAVI SHEKHAR NARAIN SINGH), Colonel (Retd)
• Ex RAW officer
• Writes articles for Indian dailies and military magazines.
• Author “the military factor in Pakistan” and “unmaking Nepal”
• Alumnus of National Defence Academy Rastriya India Military
college. Graduate @Defence services staff college,
Wellington.
• Commissioned into the Indian army in December 1982 (5th
Battalion, Bihar Regiment)
• Military and strategic analysis wing @army head Quarters; Former Cabinet secretariat.
• Currently vising fellow @ORF (Observer Research Foundation) and Associate Editor-Indian
Defence Review.
2. Puspendra Kulashrestha
• Senior Indian Journalist, public speaker New Delhi.
• Former Editor manager and India head at AAJ News of
Pakistan.
• He worked with Sahara News, BBC world, Zee News, AAJ
TAK.
• Degree in Journalism from the Aligarh Muslim University.
• Former secretary General – Press Club of India.
