I. INTRODUCTION
 Communicating learning Objectives

1. Introduce the following Objectives:

a) Define Entrepreneurship
b) Know and explain
a) Explain the importance of Entrepreneurship in a capitalist economy. Entrepreneurship
b) Know the Entrepreneur’s Task, Rewards for Successful and Innovation &
Entrepreneurship New Ventures
and Long –Term
Enterprises.

2. Preliminaries: Routinely Activity

a) Prayer
b) Greetings
c) Classroom Management
d) Checking of Attendance
e) Review of Previous lesson

3. Motivation: Ask the learners to read as short story: Should you be your own boss?
4. Ask the learners the following question:

a) Do you have your own personal experiences at work where you have to do someone else tells you?
b) How do you feel about working for someone else?
c) Do you know someone who operates his or her own business?
d) Can you name a business near the school that is probably owned and operated by one person?
e) Describe what type of business?

5. Relate the connection of Entrepreneurship in our daily lives.

7. What does “innovation” consist of?
8. What stages comprise the transition from a new venture to a successful long- term enterprise?

III. PRACTICE

 Divide the class into 6 groups. Each group will identify a business in their area which became successful
due to innovation. Write about the role played by innovation in its success.
 Prepare a list of five innovative products or services currently introduced in the market.

IV. ENRICHMENT

 Ask the learners “Is entrepreneurship important to you? Does it affect your daily activities? How?

V. EVALUATION
 Give a short quiz. Ask the following questions:

1. Define Entrepreneurship
2. What is Economic Development?
3. Discuss the tasks of an Entrepreneur.
4. Explain the 4 transition stages of entrepreneurship.
