REFLECTIVE JOURNAL

After a few months experiencing this kind of pandemic which is Covid-19. It is good to know that I am
still alive and healthy especially my family. I thank God for all the blessings and strength that He gave for
me and my family. But before I enter in online class and before it started I always ask my self if I can
survive it? If I can do it? Because sometimes I don’t have a focus on my study, lack of knowledge, lack of
understanding, family problems and other matter. I ask my self if I will support my study? Because of the
pandemic thank God because I am a part of the scholar in our school and CHED. I thank God because He
always provide my needs to pursue my dreams and for giving a peace of mind and He always by my side.
So far I am here to study and to pursue my dreams with the help of my professor, classmates, friends
and especially my family. Because of them I am still here to gaining my knowledge, information and
discovering new ideas. This pandemic is not the hindrance to pursue our dreams. Always look at the
brighter side and have faith in God.

The lesson that we discussed is all about the Philippine tourism industry, travel agency and it’s function,
the SEC application form, marketing and many more. This lesson gave me more information and gain my
knowledge especially the research activity that we do. The activity gave me more knowledge because
we have a small business here in our house and in Marilao public market. Our activity familiarized us in
different forms and how we can apply in our small business. This kind of learning help us to gain our
knowledge and how we can help our family and other people who are planning to have a business in the
future.

My learning process and practices help me to be confident on how we can do things here in our
industry. As a tourism student I need to be familiarized in different situation and practices because in
the future we facing it in our own. Our professor is our guide in this journey and how we can do it. This
pandemic will be end soon in God’s perfect time we need to trust God and always pray and protect us.

Our industry will be back soon and we can do it we will survive in this kind of situation. When pandemic
ends the tourism industry will raising again. And the tourism student will be the future employee in
tourism industry we will follow the journey of the other people in tourism industry. Thank you for our
professor to do their best to give the best learning experience even we have a pandemic. Let us all
support each other especially the effort of every one because it is not easy for everyone.
