Assalamualaikum and best wishes, we wish to extend our heartfelt condolences to the great
visit of Prophet Muhammad and his companions. We are grateful to Allah for giving and strengthening
throughout this project to successfully anticipate all problems to successfully complete this task.
Surely this report would not have been possible without his help and consent because man could only
use it and Allah is the All-Knowing.

Our endless thanks go to our excellent lecturer for Dr. Sabrinah Binti Adam for teaching and
guiding us tirelessly and treating all of us from the beginning of this project to the present. This project,
which covers almost all of our overall scores for this course, would not have been possible without
his guidance and assistance. In addition, thanks were also given to both of our parents who were very
helpful, guiding us forward in the project and always encouraging us to continue to address any issues
encountered throughout the project. We would also like to thank all of our partners who have
contributed directly or indirectly to the success of this project. All of our partners have helped this
project in terms of promoting this business product to the surrounding community to the extent that it
is receiving a response. Customers play an important role in the sustainability of a business, so we
want to thank all of our customers who have purchased our products and helped respond to our

2.0 INTRODUCTION OF BUSINESS

2.1 NAME & ADDRESS OF BUSINESS

First, there are a few names that we listed for the business name, such as Cookiesah,
Cookies.co, Cookies Crunchies, AM Crunchy Cookies, Kukies, and Cookies.ahlah. After a thoughtful
discussion, we decide to go to Cookies.ahlah because it is the best name among the names we have
mentioned. In fact, our business is only available to UTM students and staff who live at UTM Johor
Bharu but during the Movement Control Order, so our group members are at home and we are used
to doing a drop-off, as Dr. Sabrina has told us. We used the bank in our account number method for
our business transactions.

9.0 CONCLUSION & INDIVIDUAL REFLECTION

9.1 INDIVIDUAL REFLECTION

AMIRUDDIN BIN MOHAMAD

My first thanks to Dr Sabrinah Binti Adam for giving me so much valuable knowledge in
guiding me and my team throughout for this semester on this subject of Entrepreneurship. She
teaches and describes in detail every piece of information and experience on our journey as an
entrepreneur and sees the world in our business life. She also helps us think creatively and
critically to take action and sell something unique to our customers because it's so important for
every seller to get them to buy a product. There are many successful business opportunities with
his guidance as she has opened our eyes to what other people cannot see. This is a fun business
where we sell products and profit from these additional products. This is also an experience which
is very valuable to me because there is so much knowledge presented by Dr Sabrinah on this
business that we need to start from bottom because at this time we do not know if our work is
worth the money or we can add more by generating extra income through business with a product
that we sell. At the moment it is very useful knowledge as I know many well-known and rich
business people so I hope this is the first step for me to get the side business to succeed for a while
for the purpose of doing business.
At first I was told for the whole semester that our university subject for our course was
Introduction to Entrepreneurship so in fact I was not excited that I knew this subject had anything
to do with selling a product and I was not confident of selling it because I was afraid that there
would be many people didn't buy the product. Upon entering Dr Sabrinah's first class I was very
surprised that she looked like a model because she wore a full suit and looked like an artist by
wearing a lanyard because it was rare for such lecturers to wear something like that so I began to
fear Dr Sabrinah's character initially using English as a language introductions in his class because
I was weak in English sometimes. I have always been fascinated by Dr Sabrinah because she looks
beautiful and sporting and at times fierce with her jokes. Dr Sabrinah was a bit busy at first because
she had to compete in MDEC for business and this season of Movement Control Order (MCO) so
we rarely met and only met through the online class Webex Cisco Meetings. Dr Sabrinah taught
us three projects, the first of which was that we had to work with a magazine where we had to find
a staff at our Faculty where some had a business as a manager and her interview to take the content
out of the mouths for inclusion in the magazine. This is why when we interview and produce a
magazine, we feel passionate and interested in this business as it can earn extra money to make our
lives easier. For the second project we had to implement NABC and BMC templates for us to start
43
a business. This is because we have come to know for a long time for our business the flow of cash
and the needed capital and more as we learn about the two projects. Lastly for the third project we
had to start a business to sell quite a bit because we were afraid no one would buy it but Dr Sabrinah
kept giving us guidance and motivation on how to start our business. We started a dropship
business for this third project as well as another group and we started the business by selling
cookies. In order to implement this third project we had to register and present in Johor Bahru to
get a certificate as we were also involved in a lot of scoring, had to create a Facebook business
initially we had no knowledge and Facebook account but we started to study too and look for agents
around Johor to we sell products. We chose these cookies because they are easy to sell to the public
and easy to pack for delivery around Malaysia. Thankfully the hospitality was well received and
sales were a bit high. This is all because of Dr. Sabrinah as he has given a lot of guidance in this
business. I have also attended several Dr Sabrinah seminars where we can create our own website
for business and it is very important for me and my team for the initial steps in business and the
knowledge we have gained in producing that website and another seminar on business I also came
to support Dr Sabrinah and also got an E-Certificate when I attended an online seminar on
Facebook with Dr Sabrinah.
Throughout my subject on Introduction to Entpreneurship, there are so many things I have
learned that we can do to earn more income by starting this business. First, I was exposed to what
I needed to do to be ready to get involved in business and how to become a successful entrepreneur.
The guidelines provided on this subject have helped me to get an idea of what to put in the business.
In addition, this subject added a new perspective for me to prepare for the future with many job
opportunities besides just taking my main course, Geoinformatics. This is a very valuable
experience because we are not sure what to expect in the future with our own business. In addition,
some of the new knowledge and experience I gained during the course gained social interaction
skills in the online business that ultimately enhanced the skills, successfully gained a wealth of
knowledge on the subject of business to know the basic customer requirements for the products we
sell for the purpose to keep our business durable despite the many obstacles that must be met and
the price plays an important role as well as to keep the hard sell like post up the price tag or soft
sell which gives our customers the impatience that we have a product or in other words a teaser to
our product so that our business can last longer. It is also noteworthy that Dr Sabrinah taught us to
be more confident in using English in the presentation and that this training provided us with the
strength to move forward and to boldly advance our ideas and questions in order to be confident in
our future presentation using English so we don't have to be embarrassed.

44
An online business that my group and I run based on the sale of a food called Cookies. Well,
that taught me to work as a team. When a business is started, we have to split our jobs fairly based
on our capabilities such as who needs to maintain the official Facebook site, who should contact
the customer when to place an order and who needs to promote to get our product sales. We must
also be considerate of others so that everyone has the priority to study equally to gain knowledge
in this business. So, the task should be shared fairly with the rest of the team to make sure the
business runs smoothly. In addition, this has strengthened my confidence in dealing with people
we do not know because our communications are already well-known where it's important for us
to communicate with violators in order to convince them to buy our product. Besides, this business
project taught me to allocate time efficiently for us to choose this business and our course. Doing
many things at once will reduce work efficiency. Therefore, it is imperative for me to distribute
them properly to ensure that I will provide the best results for each job as well as for the customer.
I would like to suggest to all of my colleagues who are starting a business online that Dr Sabrinah
is a very talented, sporting and very knowledgeable lecturer who can be very helpful and not
arrogant as Dr Sabrinah himself suggested we start a business as it can help us to make more money
and the thrill of starting a business because knowing the downfall is normal in our business.

MUHAMMAD SYAZWAN BIN LEY

First of all, I would like to thank to Dr Sabrinah Binti Adam as a lecturer in UBSS 1032
course on Introduction to Entrepreneurship. The course has a total of 2 credits and the learning
and teaching process lasts for 2 hours on Mondays starting at noon. This course introduces the
basic concepts and principles of entrepreneurship and steps for starting a business. As a result of
this course, students will be able to understand the characteristics of an individual entrepreneur
and be able to analyses the business opportunities available to enter the market.
My views on the course were very negative at first, but when I got into the classroom and
learned the opposite, it happened. At first, I thought this course was very difficult and I was a
little scared to hear the word 'business' as I had no knowledge of entrepreneurship or business.
But that feeling was overcome when Dr. Sabrinah gave me a few introductory remarks on
entrepreneurship and I fell in love with this course. Dr. Sabrinah gave us words of encouragement
for us to do business because she said we were all young and there were many business
opportunities that could be used to change our destiny. From there my friends and I were taught
by Dr. Sabrinah. We are confident to speak publicly because it is very important to convince those
who will work with us to make them feel confident about our products. He also taught us a great
deal about analyzing business opportunities arising directly or indirectly. Besides, Dr. Sabrinah

45
also taught us a lot about developing creative and innovative ideas in order to grow our business
market. A business that we are not just focusing on is what we love, but it is actually meeting the
needs and demands of our customers if our business is focused solely on what we are interested
in, it will not grow. Throughout the process of teaching and learning, Dr. Sabrinah also taught us
how to create our own business website to facilitate business processes as technology advances.
Next, we are also asked to register with the Companies Commission of Malaysia or also called
(SSM) to carry out this business project. As I learned about this entrepreneurial introductory
course, I gained a lot of business knowledge from the start to successfully run this business project.
This course taught me a lot about business such as how to create a website, how to
communicate with customers and more so that I became interested in this course.
To anyone who doesn't know Dr. Sabrinah, I'll introduce you. Dr. Sabrinah Binti Adam is a
very good lecturer and she is very committed to the task she is given. Although his appearance is
quite firm, when we get to know him more closely, he is a caring and not stingy woman. He is a
very timely person and he usually comes to class 10 to 15 minutes early. I believe anyone who
learns with her will love her character. Before resigning I want to apologize for all the wrong
during my study with Dr. Sabrinah.

NUR FARWIZAH BINTI ISA

First and foremost, I would like to express my best gratitude towards my lecturer named Dr.
Sabrinah Bt. Adam and also my classmates, 1SBEG especially my groupmates for staying with
me and giving their best cooperation during all those classes and projects. Without them, I might
barely survive throughout this semester and also throughout the lessons learned in this subject. I
appreciate it so much as they always stay with me during ups and downs or even when I am at lost
in this subject. They gave their light to me and make me realize that I, no matter what will happen
while running on the track need to be strong and always work smart to achieve something and to
finish the course with excel.
Throughout this semester, surely it is so tough but nevertheless there are tons of lessons that
can be learned. For the course code UBSS 1032 with subject named Introduction to the
Entrepreneurship that I enrolled in the second semester during my first year, it becomes an eye
opener for me to realize that business world is one of the greatest option that everyone should have
the knowledge even the slightest one. In the first place, I never thought that I would start a business
as it is not my interest for me to dive in. however, as I needed to finish my course and doing the
assignments and projects that were given, I started to fond with it and realized that it can assure u
to be the best in person.

46
The biggest lessons that I learned throughout this course is to be out of my comfort zone. This
explain that if I want to be successful as an entrepreneur, I need to be out of my comfort zone
which I needed to start doing things that I never and afraid to be done. For example, in this modern
world where social medias become a playground to everyone, I as one of the persons who rarely
into social media needs to be brave to present my products on the social media platforms. This is
because, without being brave and no courage to present the products by myself, it is going to be
nowhere as there will be no customers due to no attraction. Hence, I believe this course helped me
to be out of my comfort zone and also to be the best of me even in the virtual world like social
medias.
Next, I also learned to be a good leader for myself and even for others. I will never regret to
learn this lesson as it requires a lot of aspects to be a good leader. One of the aspects is to be
responsible and to be able to communicate with others. Without well-communications, things
could not be done properly based on the schedule. This lesson helped me to improve my
communications skill other than with my groupmates but also with general people such as
customers and supplier. Great communications allow me to become more responsible with my
works so that it can be done perfectly without having any mistakes. I also able to solve the
problems arise throughout the course using critical thinking in such as a calm way and this helped
me to become a sharp thinker to be able to solve the problems or issues that arises in any situation.
I once again believe that this course really helped me to improve myself in terms of different
aspects that much needed when I am out for work in the future.
Lastly, I hope with this knowledge, I would be able to make use to the fullest in the near future
and I urge everyone to keep on gaining knowledge regarding entrepreneurship and start their own
business as I also see that it has bright future for everyone that never lose hope and constantly
trying to start a fresh new.

47
NURUL SYAZWANI BINTI AZMAN

By attending this course throughout the semester, I have learnt a lot of things. I have been
exposed on how to be an entrepreneur in a great manner. This subject’s objectives are to
incorporate the basic concepts and principles of entrepreneurship to the students. It helps us in
having a better view of business world. Other than that, the guidance given in the subject helped
me a lot to get the idea of what to prioritize when doing a business. This course helps me to see
the business field clearly even though I am taking courses in Geoinformatics field, but the door to
the business opportunity is always open to anyone willing to make their efforts.
The first class was amazing and I would like to thank Dr. Sabrinah Bt. Adam for her effort in
making class fun and packed with interactive session. Her passionate teaching skills really drew
me in this subject although I’m not interested in business or entrepreneurship before. Not to forget,
my team members who worked hard throughout this whole semester by completing task on time
and always cooperative with each other even when we are not together at campus. I’m amazed that
my teammates are so creative and full of new ideas when we are discussing to make our own
product. Everyone participates in giving ideas to find a dropship opportunity. I really hope that we
can work together again in the future.
I was able to improve my social skills by conducting an interview of an entrepreneur from our
faculty together with my team members. I learned a lot from the interview and his advices
encourage me to get involved in business. It is useful to start a business with Need, Approach,
Benefit and Competition (NABC). We can identify from this what our business is all about. For
instance, who needs our product, what approaches we can take to ensure our product can reach our
target audience, what benefits our customers will get from our product and who our competitor is.
As a presenter of this NABC pitching video, I got complimented by Dr. Sabrinah and it helps to
boost my self-confidence. Business Model Canvas (BMC) also taught in this subject. It is initial
for business startup. In that, we can identify all the important aspects of our product and we are not
going to deviate from our plan by having BMC.

48
Our project which gives the highest proportion of marks is the online business project. We
decided to stick with our original ideas which is to sell cookies as a drop shipper. At first, we
separate our roles respectively to manage our online business. All of us worked hard promoting
our product to different group chat on WhatsApp and Telegram so it would gain our possible
customers’ attention. We mainly focus on using Facebook to introduce to the customers our
products details but also utilize other platforms such as Twitter and Instagram as millennials use
them more. To be honest, it is not easy because of our country are affected with the Covid-19
pandemic. However, with the help of media social and online platforms we managed to make a
great sale in about one and a half months of promoting.

NUR AZLINA BINTI BACHO

First and foremost, I would like to thank Dr. Sabrinah Binti Adam for teaching us and is always
so passionate in conducting us to become a better entrepreneur. In this course, I got a clearer
exposition on what it is all about to be entrepreneurship. On the first day of attending this course, I
thought this course is gibberish since I have zero knowledge, zero confidence and have absolute no
interest in entrepreneurship world. However, after attending many classes with Dr. Sabrinah as our
instructor, my mindset had changed. Through this course, I had learned and discovered many new
things that I wish I had known sooner. This course also helps me to get a better view of the
opportunity I need to seize when choosing which type of business, I want to start. Not only that,
this course has also guided me to come out of the comfort zones by doing different kinds of things
I've never done before, such as running a business and also putting our knowledge into our own
prototype making.
Not forgetting the team members that I look up to - Amiruddin, Syazwan, Farwizah and
Syazwani, they had always been a great help and gave their best cooperation they could in
completing their tasks. I also learned that having the right people in the correct roles is an important
factor in measuring the success of a team, where you are united with the other members to complete
the main goals. One of our strengths as a team is that we get input from everyone involved. Every
member of our team is a leader in some way. The team has to agree upon what their responsibilities
are and make sure that they are completed at the agreed-upon time. The team should be well aware
of what is to be done and its timelines. We need to show more leadership in the team and be in
support of what the team has set out to do. Besides, we need better communication skills and to
better familiarize ourselves among one another, to better understand the person for whom we are
interpreting.
At the end of the day, what matters the most is what we have learned from our group work

49
experiences. During the tenure of working together, situations cropped up and tested us on the scales
of making the decisions and handling the pressures and exceptions. Team performance is influenced
by the kinds of people making up a group, and testing indicates that certain combinations of
personality-types perform more successfully than others, but the key to its implementation is how

being able to use promoting services provided by Facebook and Instagram to reach more possible

do a better approach towards our customers.
