PYI GYI KHIN (PGK) is a local, woman’s non-governmental organization (NGO) which was founded in

1997 to strive for rights of every citizen especially women and children and provide necessary services

through capacity building of the people and necessary advocacy work. The organization has over 19

years experiences in women and child protection issues, community based HIV Prevention and Care &

Treatment, development of community based organizations and self-help groups, advocacy in Human

Rights law reform and strengthening local organization network.

PGK have been implementing projects and programs on the community based HIV intervention

program, HIV and Human Right in legal reform project, ”Patient-Centered Community Based MDRTB

Care Model project” funded by UNOPS-GFATM, Community based TB care (CBTBC) project in Chin

State – Hakha, Falam , Thangtlang townships funded by UNOPS-GFATM, Right to information project

(RTI), enabling legal environment for CSOs program and supporting ART and decentralization program

and Health System Strengthening program in all regions and states in Myanmar.

Now PGK is recruiting a qualified candidate for Field Facilitator (Prevention) under GFATM Project.

Program & Management Tasks:


 Ensure to achieve the activities of HIV Prevention, Testing, Condom distribution and SHG’s
activities based on approved work-plan.
 Play actively the center activities and supervise the Counselors, Lab Assistant, and Outreach
Workers/Volunteers (ORW) to achieve the activities plan.
 Organize the community activities regularly as per plan (i.e. mapping exercises, networking,
SHG meeting) through engagement of Self-Help groups and communities.
 Arrange necessary referral for TB,STI and Other tests and treat activities if necessary.
 Support in conducting Health Education session jointly in collaboration with Township STD
team/Health authority.
 Responsible for stock maintenance and ensure distribution of Condom, Gel and Project Supply
i.e IEC materials.

M&E Tasks:
 Ensure regular monitor to the implementation of outreach and center activities including
individual plans of outreach workers (MSM, FSW) activities for Prevention Component.
 Responsible for M&E data Collocation and timely reporting on the HIV Prevention and related
activities to Center Officer.
 Participate in the M&E related activities at center conducted by central M&E unit and PR M&E
unit for RDQA, OSDV visits, etc.

Advocacy and Networking:


 Under the supervision of Center Officer, ensure to seek the good collaboration with local
health authority and other partners for coordination.
 Support and Mobilize community participation in the prevention program organized by NAP and
PGK.

Financial Tasks:
 Prepare work-plan and request in timely for prevention activities
 Ensure the activities based claims and labor distribution for volunteers.
 Make necessary cash transaction in accordance with the PGK financial guideline and upon
approval of Center Officer.

Other Tasks:
 To monitor and control the inventories and operational stocks (both expendable and non-
expendable things such as stationeries, others, etc.)
 Actively Participate in the onsite training courses for counselors and ORW, support to travel
arrangement if necessary.
 Perform necessary Admin/HR logistic activities .
 Actively participate and support in Advocacy and Human Rights program activities if necessary.
 Undertake ad-hoc tasks and other related assignments as may be instructed by Center Officer.

Personal requirements

 Any Graduate.
 At least 2 years experienced in similar working environment.
 Good communication skills, sound judgment and team building skills.
 Commitments to and understanding of PGK’S value and core principles.
 Basic command in written and spoken English.
 Must have basic knowledge and understanding in Microsoft Office applications.
 Able to use Email and internet smoothly.
 Ability and willingness to travel in field and district if necessary.
 Able to drive motorbike safely and must have a valid licenses (Preferred).
