Reflection On Guest Lecture On Management

The guest lectures started with a discussion on why management fall in a crisis. Bosse Carlsson
and Annelie Nordstro?m using examples from their professional background through an
interactive presentation. They both are expert on their field, so highlighted uncertainty, risk,
collective stress, crisis, and normal accidents if one of them occur then how to act and then we
became CEO for one day for taking decision by our won on crisis and also how to prepare for
crisis. The lecture went on by discussing a crisis can strike at any time and how to take care of it
as a leader. Guest lectures showed us a scenario that Swedish labour union Kommunal
membership has been faced declining steadily members because of a restaurant loss. Though
restaurant business is a risky business, even then if some step took on the right time, because
preventing is better than curing.

After crisis start have to take hole control as a leader, and as a leader is an important step to

about it with others, power should be divided in an effective way. Vision of the decision should

The guest lecture is an analysis method that based on a philosophy that combines of

knowledge acquisition with significant participation from students side as active learners. As an
active learner, from guest preparation use of the crisis management method. Without careful

steps and analysis focus on the main mission, without that souvenir incident could occur.
Without actively participate we (student) could not be a witness of that very important
experience of Guest real life. In that lecture guests adopt different approaches on crisis. For
example, power of authority should be well planned divided, make a department for professional
strategic assignments. To be kept very good communication with auditors, that will help to know
about current business situation at any time. When you think you don’t have any crisis, then
you are the most vulnerable, so should be prepare for when business has no crisis. Routinely
follow up crisis drill can prevent these unwanted incidents. Even if it happens have to be act as
quickly as possible, other hand by the time it gets worst to worst.
