NOTIFICATION
ADMISSION TO DEGREE OF DOCTOR OF PHILOSOPHY (Ph.D.)

Applications are invited from candidates for admission to Ph.D.

programme of the Sardar Patel University, Vallabh Vidyanagar. The
candidates should hold recognized Master’s degree or a degree recognized
equivalent to Master’s degree, with at least 50% in aggregate or equivalent
marks/grades, to be eligible.
Those who have qualified in National/State level examination such as
UGC-CSIR/NET/SLET/DBT, ICMR, GA, JRF/M.Phil are exempted from
the Entrance Test.
Those who have not cleared above examinations are also invited for
admission to Ph.D. programme. They have to appear in Entrance Test as
per U.G.C. norms.
Application form is available from the University website
http://www.spuvvn.edu/phdadm/index.html. Downloaded form duly
filled may be submitted in person by paying Rs.300/- as fee (Application
Form Fee) and in addition those who want to appear in Entrance Test by
paying Rs. 300/- + Rs.350/- = Rs.650/- as Form Fee and Entrance Test fee
by cash or DD drawn in favor of “The Registrar, Sardar Patel
University” payable at Vallabh Vidyanagar on or before 7-01-2011.
