MONOLOGAS APIE SPORTA

Today I’m going to present a speech about sport.


 Reasons why people do sport:
To start with, people take up sport since they want to be healthier and smarter. Physical
activity helps control weight, combats health conditions and diseases, improves mood and
boosts energy. Playing sports can also boost your brainpower.
Another reason why peolpe go in for sport since it brings profit and fame. And it is also a way
to earn money and expand your horizons since you can travel around the world.
Moreover, sport provides a perfect opportunity to make new friends. When you join a sports
team, you will inevitably make friends from another countries.
Furthermore, you learn to focus and manage your time since playing a sport requires teenagers
to develop two relevant skills: focus and time management.
 Reasons why peolpe do not take up any sport/exuses:
However, there are peolpe who do not take up any sport since they claim that they are too busy
peolpe have other enjoyable pastimes, such as theater, music or art activities
Moreover, some people cannot afford it because sport requires expense on equipment and
special supplements.
Furthermore, as for negative side peolpe don’t have enough stamina and afraid to suffer
serious injuries.
 Extreme sports:
Moving on to another part of my speech, I would like to talk about extreme sports.
Worldwide are a lot of different extreme sports, for example mountain boarding, parkour,
surfing, downhill skatebording, waterfall kayaking, ice klimbing, highlining, skydiving,
wingsuit flying.
What concerns reasons why peolpe take them up despite knowing howdangerous and risky they
are, I should mention that they want to escape from personal and daily probems.
In addicion to this, extreme sports help you push your limits, get rid of fear, improve ourselves
and reach new goals.
Moreover, the reason is adrenaline. In consequence you´ll feel strong, fast, increasing the
euphoria and reducing fear. Adrenaline helps you giving the best of yourself.
Extreme sport requires endurance, self-assurance, devotion, commitment and persistence.
Personaly, I, if I had enough guts, I would choose ice klimbing and surfring. In my view, these
extreme sports cause an adrenalin rush. It provides me with new experiences, gives an
opportunity to live life to the fullest and gives some thrill to life and these experiences become
great memories to cherish during the routine life. It also helps overcome fear and builds strength
- physical and mental and endurance.
