Awareness of the Monad Meditation

Summary: A meditation to feel the awareness of the monad whereby you expand your
conscious awareness from the room you are in, to the building, to the town, state, country,
world, solar system, galaxy, universe, ultimately to humbly kneel before the “feet” of God and
gaze up at the Monad, feeling its intense power.

This meditation was sent to me from a Higher power. I had no prior inclination to the structure of
the meditation. I sat one day in my studio and started my daily meditation. I started with my
usual clearing, resonance, and chakra work. I then felt the urge to expand my consciousness to
the room I was in. Visualizing every aspect of the room. Moving my awareness around the room
like a camera on a gimbal or jib, remembering as best I could my immediate surroundings. As I
have spent much time in the studio on various Artworks, it was not a difficult visualization.

I then decided “why stop here?”, and expanded my awareness to the full apartment. Again, it
was like my visualization was a camera that could go anywhere in the apartment and see
anything. I whizzed around the kitchen and living area. The bedroom, and bathroom. I even took
a journey out to the balcony and around the building. Seeing views that would be very difficult to
get physically, but ever extrapolating what I wanted to see from my memory of my home.

Again, something in me said, “Why stop here?” And I expanded my awareness to the City in
which I was living. This time it was not like a camera. It was more like a map in my mind, but
simultaneous flashes of places in my town. The local grocery and hardware store. The river we
would walk, remembering the off-trail parts and feeling the spirit of the area.

The next parts happened in rapid succession. High off the expansion of consciousness, I fed the
fire (why stop here?) and rapidly expanded my awareness from my city, to my state, then my
country, then to the world, then to the solar system, then to the Milkyway Galaxy, then to the
Universe. Stopping at each step to see in my minds eye the Earth, the planets of the Solar
System, the stretched out washing of stars in the Milkyway. Ever expanding out.

Finally when I expanded out from the Universe I found myself before God. I humbly bowed my
head in reverence. I felt as though an immense figure, representing God, was before me and I
was overtaken with peace and reverence. It felt euphoric to pay respect and humility was
gushing out from every pore in my mind/body/spirit.

For me, there was a structure that contained the figure and myself. I recon it to a large, black (or
at least colorless) sphere with slight indications of silver lines. Almost like the longitude and
latitude lines on a globe, but the vertical lines were more prominent.

I basked in the glory of God for a time and then I decided to raise my gaze. There was no feet or
substantive or corporeal matter, just an infinitely intense light up at the very top of the sphere.
So bright that any definition of the silver lines faded. I knew this was the Godhead.
This was a very powerful experience for me. I eventually decided to ‘come back’ and I
expressed my deepest gratitude to the Creator for the experience.

I would encourage you to create your own visualizations using the following as a mere protocol
to get you into the headspace and give you a heads up as to what to allow to develop and
present itself to you. A “colorless sphere” might not do it for you. Please allow your own Spirit to
guide you.

Meditation -

Sit or lie comfortably

Slow breathing and draw attention to breath. Center body/mind. Draw in Spirit.

Once centered, visualize your entire body as you sit/lay and draw attention to the sensations of
the body. See your body, like a camera that can swirl around and zoom into anywhere. Notice
any pressure from the floor or cushion you are sitting on. Notice any bodily sensations.

Now expand your awareness to the room or immediate environment you are in. See the chair or
cushion that you are resting on. See the floor, walls, ceiling. Any wall hangings or Artwork.
Notice the old soda can that you left on the desk. Notice that smudge on the window from the
dogs nose. Using your memory, recreate the room in every detail that you can. Move your
awareness around the room seeing everything. See yourself sitting and meditating. *If you’re
outdoors, visualize the space immediately surrounding you. Maybe a 10 - 15 foot circle around
you.

Now move your awareness to the building you are in. Move your consciousness to each room,
seeing them as they presently are. See the cat sleeping on the couch. See the glass in the sink.
See the folded towels in the washroom closet. Visit every space and see it in your minds eye.
Now move to the exterior of the building. See the siding material. See the patio or balcony.
Notice the leaves on the grass. Notice that oil stain on the driveway. Admire the attractive
flowers growing in the garden, etc.

Why stop here?

Expand your awareness to your City or Town. See the common locations you visit. See the
grocery store, the Chinese food place. See yourself walking down your favorite local hiking or
biking trail. Remember the feeling of those location and really put yourself there.

Now expand out to hold your State or Provence in mind, then expand out to the Countly, then
out to the entire world. See the Globe in all her glory. Now zoom out and see Earth as the third
sphere from the Sun and visualize (as best you can) the Solar system.
Spiral out - Keep going

Pull back your awareness even further and see our Solar System fade into tiny pixels as the
Milkyway Galaxy absorbs it.

Using the momentum, keep pulling back. Seeing in your minds eye the Milkyway fading into an
even bigger expanse. Muster all you can and visualize the Universe as you see it. An infinite
expanse that you can somehow hold completely and totally in mind.

Now pull back further. Fade into the veil and emerge into Source. Know that you are before the
Utmost. Feel the Honor and show your Respect.

Feel the ecstasy that is to bask in the Glory of the Absolute. Give Thanks and reciprocate Love.

Now look up. As you draw your gaze upward, notice a light source. It is infinitely small, but also
infinitely bright and overcomes your vision until all you can see is this Source of Light. Know that
this is the Godhead.
