he AIMS Test for Management Admission or ATMA is conducted by
the Association of Indian Management School (AIMS) for admissions
into the post graduate management programmes across its partici-
pating B-schools. The ATMA test is conducted four times a year in the months
of February, May, July and December. ATMA scores are accepted by over 100
B-schools, for admissions to their MBA/PGDM programmes.

Exam Type: Post Graduate

Test Months: February, May, July and December

ATMA Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must be a graduate in any of the

disciplines from a recognized institute/university. Final year candidates can
also apply for the test.

ATMA Application Form: Candidates can fill the application form via both
online and offline modes. The online application for ATMA can be filled along
with submitting the fee by visiting the website. For an offline application pro-
cess, candidates must download and submit the form with the fee of Rs. 1,100.

ATMA Exam Pattern: The exam has six sections on 3 areas with total 180
questions. The duration is 3 hours. The six sections are Analytical Reasoning
Skills, Verbal Skills and Quantitative Skills.

ATMA Admit Card: The admit card for ATMA will be available for the reg-
istered candidates only. It is important for the candidates to download and
present the admit card at the time of the test, failing to which a candidate will
not be allowed to appear in the test.

ATMA Result: Students will be able to check their overall and sectional
scores when the results are announced.

ATMA Participating Institutes: There total number of Participating In-

stitutes for ATMA is around 100. These institutes will select the shortlisted
candidates for admissions into their management programmes. After the an-
nouncement of the results, candidates will have to apply in different Par-
ticipating Institutes of ATMA and follow their selection process to avail final

ATMA Eligibility Criteria

he Eligibility Criteria of ATMA is announced by the official exam con-
ducting body. As per the Eligibility Criteria of ATMA, candidates with
a bachelor’s degree in any of discipline can apply for the test.

The ATMA Eligibility Criteria is announced by AIMS for students to fill in the
ATMA application form and register for the test. It must be noted that only
eligible candidates can apply for the test, failing to the criteria the candida-
ture of a student can be cancelled.

ATMA Eligibility Criteria:

zzCandidates must be a graduate in any of the disciplines
zzThey must have a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university/institute
zzThey must have a minimum percentage of 50% at graduation level

fore the deadline

As per the directives from Government of Maharashtra State, ATMA Score is

valid for admissions against 15% OMS quota and 20% Institute level seats for
all the institutes offering MBA/MMS. The scores of ATMA test are valid for
Maharashtra institutional level MBA seats also, in addition to all-India level

ATMA Application Form

he application form of ATMA is available in both online and offline
modes. It is important for the candidates to register in either online
or offline mode if they want to appear in the ATMA test. For the of-
fline application process, candidates must download and submit the form
with the fee.

Before applying or filling the form, students must also check whether or not
they are eligible to apply.

It is important for the candidates to follow any of the procedure to register

for ATMA. To follow the offline ATMA Application Form, the candidates must

visit the official notified centers; purchase the exam vouchers through a cash
payment of Rs. 1100.

The students can take guidance from the table shown below as what proce-
dure to follow to start with the registration for the ATMA:

The ATMA Application Form Fee can also be paid via another mode which
is - bank Account Transfer. The steps to follow are:

1. Click on the link provided under the section of ATMA Application Form.
Enter bank details.

2. Deposit Rs 1100 in the Axis bank account and Request for PID

3. Enter and Valid payment details sent to your email id.

Students must follow all the steps received by them in the Email to register
successfully for the ATMA.

ATMA Admit Card

he Admit Card for ATMA will be available for the candidates to down-
load from the website. The Admit Card is an important document to
be carried at the examination center.

The ATMA Admit Card can be obtained in online mode only. The hard copy
will not be sent to the registered candidates. Hence the applicants must en-
sure about taking the print out and preserving it carefully till the admission
process is completely over.

How to download ATMA Admit Card:

For successfully downloading the ATMA Admit Card, applicants need to fol-
low the below-given steps:

zzEnter your PID and password in the next 2 fields and click on the tab Log
zzSelect the option of Print Admit Card among the 3 choices given on the
left side of the page.

The ATMA Admit Card will have information about the Candidate, Pho-
tograph and Signature, Date and Venue of the Exam, Reporting Time, ATMA
Roll Number and other related information. The Admit Card will also be re-
quired at the time of counseling or GD/PI to be produced as a proof to candi-
dates’ appearance in the examination.

ATMA Exam Pattern

he Exam pattern of ATMA is prescribed by the official exam conduct-
ing body, which is AIMS. The test will be objective in nature where
students have to opt the correct answer from the options provided.

As per the Exam Pattern of ATMA, the exam will be of 180 minutes with a
total of 180 questions to be answered by the students. The test is conducted
in both the modes- online and offline but the overall pattern remains same.

Candidates who are appearing in this exam must study the ATMA Exam
Pattern as it will guide them about how the exam would be and how to tackle

ATMA Exam Pattern:

Broadly the ATMA has three sections but each section is repeated twice with
the same name and the same number of questions. The six sections are- An-
alytical Reasoning Skills, Verbal Skills, Quantitative Skills, Analytical Rea-

soning Skills, Verbal Skills and Quantitative Skills. Each section will have 30
questions to be completed in the allotted 30 minutes. Check the table for

The total number of questions is 180. Each section has 30 questions and
there is 1 mark for each correct question and 1/3 negative marking. The ques-
tions are objective type and multiple choices where each question is followed
by 4 choices.

ATMA Result

he Association of Indian Management Schools (AIMS) will announce
the results for the ATMA test. Candidates can check their ATMA re-
sult by entering their log-in details. The result of ATMA will be in the
form of scores, and candidates can check their sectional and overall scores in
their score card.

The students can check their overall and sectional scores via ATMA Results,
and can also check their shortlist status for the further admission procedures
into the management programmes of ATMA accepting B-schools.

How to download ATMA Result:

Each year the ATMA exam is conducted by AIMA to select students for fi-
nal admissions into the management programme of ATMA participating B-
schools across India. The procedure download the ATMA Result is:

The ATMA Scores will be accepted in more than 100 B-Schools across In-
dia. These institutes will select the shortlisted candidates for admissions into

their selection process to avail final admission.

ATMA Participating

TMA is conducted by the All India Management Association (AIMS)
for admissions to its affiliated B-schools, known as ATMA Partici-
pating Institutes. The participating institutes of ATMA will select
students for final admissions on the basis of their scores in post graduate
management programmes.

The ATMA scores are accepted by around 100 B-schools. After appearing in
the test and the declaration of the results, students will start searching for
their preferred ATMA Participating Institutes, accepting ATMA scores.

Soon after the announcement of the results, the admission process at the
participating institutes will start.
