Low false-alarm CMWS is an integrated, modular IR countermeasures suite
rate; consisting of an advanced electronic control unit, multiple
early detection
ultraviolet electro-optical missile sensors, an AN/ALE-47
sequencer, and an improved countermeasure dispenser. It
accurately locates threats and dispenses countermeasures
while providing an audible and visual event notification to
the pilot. CMWS features a modular, customizable design
that allows for easy upgrades and seamless integration with
other aircraft and survivability systems.
