 A cordial invitation to the Conference to
Celebrate the Completion of 60 years of
Indian Society of International Law at New
Delhi from 20th February to 22nd February
2020.
OBJECTIVE
The objectives of the conference are to
examine the current challenges
multilateralism and to provide an occasion to
make an assessment of various multilateral
instruments in terms of their interpretation
and implementation on the below mentioned
themes.
THEMES
Climate Change
IHL and Refugee law
Trade and the Environment
Legal Order of the Law of the Sea
Afro-Asian Approach to International Law
ABOUT ISIL
OBJECTIVES
To foster nation-wide, the study and development of
international law
To interpret through its forums and publications, the
applications of international law as chiefly affecting
India
To encourage the comparative study of the application
of international law in other States; and
To promote research in international law
to
CALL FOR PAPERS
Proposals for the paper are invited on any of the themes
as mentioned above and those who want to participate are
required to send a 400 word abstract by 30th January 2020
A student workshop will also be organized in the same
period and the interested students are also required to
send in a 400 word abstract by 30th January 2020
FOREIGN SCHOLARS
Foreign scholars will be provided with the airport pick up
and drop and also the accomodation by the organisers.
Further they are  exempt from the registration fee.
