Warden ZZ_J relayed the following: * Approximately 5 miles south of Clark, a person hunting upland was charged by a grizzly bear along the Clark’s Fork River. © The person shot at the bear with a 12 gauge shotgun using steel shot at a distance of about 10 feet. © The person was certain the bear was hit and it ran away. «The person was not harmed. It was followed approximately ¥ mile downstream along the Clark’s Fork River. Intermingled with the bear’s tracks were also the tracks of multiple bear cubs (at least two).
