H, anit contents, are not o be dstibutd outside of your agency REPORT OF INVESTIGATION INV #: 2015605398 Title: LAKE CREEK GRIZZLY TAKE Report #: 001 DETAILS OF INVESTIGATION Phone Call from WGFD Game Warde On November 07, 2015 3 ately 1206hrs, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USEWS) Special Agent (SA’ pe a phone call from Wyoming Game and Fish Department (WGFD) Game Warden reporting the take of a grizzly bear by a hunter near Clark, Wyoming. Warden ZZ_J relayed the following: * Approximately 5 miles south of Clark, a person hunting upland was charged by a grizzly bear along the Clark’s Fork River. © The person shot at the bear with a 12 gauge shotgun using steel shot at a distance of about 10 feet. © The person was certain the bear was hit and it ran away. «The person was not harmed. LAWS VIOLATED On or about May 22, 2015, in the District of Montana, did knowingly take an endangered species; to wit, a Grizzly bear (Ursus arctos horribilis), m violation of Title 16 United States Code Section 1538 (a)(1)(B).
