CHAPTER IV

PRESENTATION, ANALYSIS AND INTERPRTATION DATA

On this chapter presents, analyzes and interprets the findings of the study.

Interpretation and discussion are based on the statistical analysis made on the data

gathered.

I. Interpretation

Table 1- Profile of the Respondents in terms of Grade Level

Table 1 shows the profile of the respondents in terms of grade level. All the

respondents of the researcher were grade q11 students of Infant Jesus Montessori

School.

Table 2 shows the profile of the respondents in terms of gender. 44 percent of

the respondents were male, while the rest were female with a percentage of 56

percent.

Table 3 shows the profile of the respondents in terms of their age group. 56

percent of the respondents were between the ages 15-16, 32 percent were between

ages 17-19. There were no between the ages 20-22.

The table 4 shows that 90% or most of the grade 11 students of Infant Jesus

Montessori School eat junk foods. 8% answered maybe to the question and 2%

answered no.

Table 5 shows that 54% or most of the respondents think that eating junk food

is not beneficial to them. 32% answered maybe to the question and 14% answered

yes, junk food is beneficial to them.

routine?

Table 6 shows that 60% or most of the Grade 11 students of Infant Jesus

Montessori school do not consider junk food as a part of their daily meal routine. 20%

answered both yes and maybe to the question of the researcher.

Table 8 shows that 66% or most of the Grade 11 students of Infant Jesus

Montessori School respondents can live without junk food. 20% answered maybe they

can live without junk food and 14% answered that they could not live without junk

food.

Table 8 shows that 66% or most of the Grade 11 students of Infant Jesus

Montessori School eat junk foods in school. 20% answered maybe to the question and

14% answered no.

Table 9 shows that 54% or most of the Grade 11 students of Infant Jesus

Montessori School think that parents who let their child eat junk foods are irresponsible.

28% answered maybe to the question while the rest with a percentage of 18 answered

no.

Table 11 shows that 44% of the Grade 11 students of Infant Jesus Montessori

School think that junk food is addictive. 34% answered maybe to the question, while

the rest with a percentage of 22 % answered no.

Table 12 shows that 80% or most of the grade 11 students of Infant Jesus

Montessori School are aware about the diseases you can get when you eat junk foods.

16% among the respondents answered no to the question, while the rest with a

percentage of 4 answered maybe.

Table 13 shows that 56% or most of the Grade 11 students of Infant Jesus

Montessori School is educated by the Local Government Unit about the dangers of junk

food. 36 percent answered maybe to the question, while the rest with a percentage of

10 answered no.

people’s health?

Table 14 shows that 58% or most of the Grade 11 students of Infant Jesus

Montessori School think that food manufacturers should think more about people’s

health. 24% answered maybe to the question, while the rest with a percentage of 18

answered no.
