How to play
1. Place one card on each desk. It helps if cards are placed in a
clockwise order for students easily follow.
2. Students should have a recording sheet, pencil and a clipboard.
3. Students will start by answering the question card on their desk
by matching the number on the card to number on the recoding
sheet.
4. After about one minute say “SCOOT”! Students will rotate to the
next desk. If this game is new for your students, it may be helpful
to practice rotating in order .
5. There are 16 cards in this scoot so you could have students
double up or have brain break desks!

1. Place the cards randomly throughout the room (in places


that are visible, at eye level and easily found by the students).
2. Students should have a recording sheet, pencil and a
clipboard.
3. Students will travel around the room looking for all cards,
matching the numbers and recording their answers. I like to
turn on music as they walk quietly looking for cards.
4. Early finishers should complete the challenge question (pg.4)
on the back of their recording sheet.
