ORIGIN

Sergio Lobo was born on November 1, 1972 in Colinas do Tocantins in Brazil. He is a visual
artist and, currently lives and works in Tocantins capital Palmas. In his artistic creation, Sergio
Lobo has been looking for new ways to expression, reinterpreting forms in a contemporary
language and permeating his work with the figurative and abstract.

The artist considers essential to the pursuit of the design feature and the beauty of colors, in
their endless ways, blemishes and abstractionisms. Sergio Lobo defines his art this way: "I seek
the fusion of design and colors" . His intention is to awaken to his public around the world the
various aesthetic possibilities of their work. According to the curator Vone Petson, the work of
Sergio Lobo has a variety of plastic trials, being the result of a restless spirit, which is constantly
in search of new visual possibilities. And according the composer Konie Lappin: "The art of
Sergio Lobo is an expression of vivid colors which evolve moviments of innovative colorful
spaces on canvas bringing upon images as notes´ music, expressing the deepest part of a soul
that is always looking for

a creation which takes strong impact of the mirrors on dancing feelings"
