Preflight

• brief: taxi,takeoff,climb (If PF) • setup own side flight instr/switches
• call’s for safety/before start etc checklist (initial FL acc height en pointers)
• performs engine starts • brief: taxi,takeoff,climb (If PF)
After Start,Taxi and Takeoff:

Capt : Fo :
• after start props forward calls:set departure flap • set dep flap and check STBY Hyd, after start flow
• calls after start checklist after Fo has done flow (flow: bus tie window heat and packs, rest is done
with checklist)
• after fo does taxi flow call taxi checklist • after start checklist, obtain taxi clearance

Lineup: • taxi flow (yaw damper and auto feather on)


• check altimeter for rw elevation and rw heading
• flight/taxi switch to flight call lineup checklist Lineup:
• performs lineup flow/checklist
• Gives control to Fo if Fo is PF • observe and call wind from (direction)
Initial climb:

(standard acceleration height is 1000ft)

(Before) DESCENT:

The standard descent is flown at 230 KIAS

PF: PM:

• perform fms/nav setup • get atis

• Xcheckvref data and expected landing weight (fms • calculate vref/landing speeds (check remaining fuel
against OFP) landing weight etc)

• briefs approach and landing • set pressurization (landing alt)

• calls decent checklist when cleared to FL100 or lower Fl100


• calls:transition level: set std alt and xcheck • Performs FL100 checks and flow (landing
• calls approach checklist when cleared below TRA Alt lights/seatbelts)
Approach and Landing:

PF: FO:

• when cleared on intercept arm apr call flaps 5 • check speed set flaps 5

• when PM take control below 30knots • below 30knots control lock on, after landing flow
• when PM finished flow call checklist (flow is after landing checklist)

Shutdown:
As the aircraft approaches the gate, the Captain will select or request the TAXI light
OFF; the FO will check the hydraulics and announce any failures. Once the aircraft is
stopped, the Captain will set EMERG BRAKE to PARK and call for “Shutdown
Checklist” (Challenge and Response).
