Details:

1. Ensure there is no intake and exhaust leakage; Confirm clamp connecting Throttle Body and Intake adaptor is
tightened upto spacer. Also ensure Throttle cable free play is set and check free play existence over steering
lock to lock (FOR RH side and LH Side).
2. At the pre-trial area before the vehicle goes on to chassis dyno, KEY ON and Kill ON for 10 secs (engine not to
be cranked or started) and kill switch and key OFF and leave it undisturbed for 15 seconds.
3. Key ON, Start the vehicle, let the vehicle idling; please proceed to dyno testing, On ensuring MIL lamp is not
glowing, If MiL is glowing due to Front wheel lock test trail in dyno, delete the EMS & ABS error by DOL tool
and proceed the track testing of one round and further proceed to CO checking station. In case MIL was found
glowing after start of vehicle connect the DOL tool, correct the issue, clear the issue and repeat from Step 2.
4. On completion of CO checking, move the vehicle to DOL check station, park the vehicle on Center Stand and
ensure the vehicle is on a flat surface and Front wheel touching the ground and connect the vehicle to NACS II
DOL tool and link it to EOL PC and open the PC software “Royal Enfield EOL” and do a KEY & Kill Switch ON
only and navigate through the software. The below screen will be displayed. Please select “CONTINENTAL
EMS PLATFORM” under PROJECT and “EMS” under ECU.

5. The next screen will have multiple options (FLASH; EOL; VEHICLE ADAPTATIONS; WRITE DATA BY

IDENTIFIER) please select FLASH and enter the Chassis no. in the space provided and hit the icon; The
next screen will have multiple details picked up from ECU, ensure Chassis no. and Engine no. is recorded
there.

6. Once done hit the exit button and get back to home screen and enter into EOL tab and enter ACTUATOR,

using , and further to TILT ANGLE ADAPTATION using . On ensuring the vehicle is on Center Stand

hit the button to enable adaptation; Wait for Adaptation to complete and ensure the vehicle is undisturbed
till process ends and do a Key OFF and leave it undisturbed for 15 secs and then do a Key ON.

7. On ensuring VIN and Engine no. stored as above; If the details are not seen then repeat from Step 5 again.
On Conforming, Start the Engine and hit exit from the current tab, enter EOL tab from Home screen and open

DTC option using ; ensure there are no current and history of errors in the ECU.
8. If any error was noted by the system click on the save option to save the freeze frame data using and

erase DTC using For a scenario of error noted during test trial either in current or history repeat steps 3-7.

9. On confirming no errors were stored; open the OBD tab using and ensure the below parameters; This is a
Homologation requirement and 100% conformance is needed.

10. On ensuring no errors and the above details proceed to live data using and trigger recording using PDI

The recording will run for 10 secs and save the report. Ensure all listed parameters fall in specifications
mentioned before Recording is triggered.
11. Once PDI live data is over report will be generated and user will be notified if the vehicle has Passed or Failed;

Proceed to next check station in case of PASS and correct the issue and repeat from Step 2 If it’s a FAIL.
