The profile of Nicolae Testemițanu

Nicolae Testemiteanu was an inquisitive and capable person from an yearly age.
He finished with success gymnasium from Baraboi, prestigious high-school “Ion
Creanga” from Balti,and Medical Institute.
Maybe, he learned so well because he was very industrious and purposeful. He
had a big potential and didn’t accept to be only a doctor. That’s why he continued
his cares as a lecturer at the Chair of General Surgery, obtained thesis degree of
Doctor of Medicine in 1958. In this period he improved his lidership and speaking
skills, published medical magazine that founded in 1957 ,,Health Protection”.
He wanted to develop the medical branch in Moldova, and worked hard for
that. Opened new departments at the University , set up different links with other
medical universities and implemented many medical reforms .
