The total number of Active Listings for sale continued to fall. This metric
dropped 5.1 percent from year-ago levels. That's the fifth consecutive week Most Recent Month
of inventory drops and may be attributed to strong purchase demand
coupled with slow listing activity. This also marks the largest inventory drop
since the first full week of May 2010 – or tax credit time. Days on Market Until Sale ......... 5
Months Supply of Inventory was up slightly in December, it currently stands
at 6.9 months – just outside the ideal five to six range. Market times were Percent of Original List Price Received at Sale ......... 6
up from December 2009 by five days to register in at 90 days for December
2010. Sellers, on average, received about 92.0 percent of their original list
price – which is identical to the December 2007 figure. Housing Affordability Index ......... 7
