Marketing Strategies:
In order to make my work and brand famous I will try to target celebrities who are mothers and are famous in
Pakistan. How they will help me? They will help me by using my products. I will try to take an appointment
with celebrities who are mother of small baby girls, I will gift them my one product of frock and will ask her to
share my link and the picture of frock on your page by tagging me. This will surely expand my brands name. As
my business is new and in order to save the cost as much as possible, this marketing strategy is pretty much
effective and cost saving.

Product:

This industry is always lacking in new ideas, Competitors are mainly focusing on profit maximization whereas
I’ll be the one who will take advantage of this and will invest more in studying the consumer, what they want
to have. Product variety and product diversification are the cores that I will be focusing on and, with in no time
my brand will be launching more products or accessories for toddlers & kids. My Products will also produce by
keeping the season factor in mind.

Price:

We are offering competitive price for our products as compared to other brands. Since, we offer option for
customization so we keep our prices higher for those dresses. Moreover discounts will be given soon on
various occasions as well as on seasons. To make customers more active, soon we’ll be launching loyalty card
for our loyal regular customer. This card will facilitate them with discounts and credit facilities.

Average price of one dress ranges from 1500 to 2500 (dependent on size and cost of the dress). The total cost
of clothes depends on the type of design, fabric and size (according to customer preferences).

Also we buy raw material in bulk and recycle cut pieces for frocks that is why we get 10% discount from our
vendor.

Place:

We are operating through virtual platform (Facebook). Also we have physical workroom in my home where we
display our products for those customers who visit us. The best part of my business is that I don’t have to rent
any place for running my business.. So at the very first start I don’t need to spend the money on renting an
office or store. The virtual platform also help our business to serve our customer, ask for their feedback,
provide customer service.

Promotion:
Through these simple marketing strategies:
 Business Cards (in progress)
 Social media (Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube are great way to promote business.
 Blogging and Writing Articles (in progress)
 Social circle(Friends, Family, Relatives)
Our business is based on positive word of mouth. We try to delight our customer so that they can spread
positive word of mouth and recommend our brand to other people as well. Also we do not promote our page
to those people who are not our target customer instead we share our products and page in relevant groups
where our target customer exist so that they can make purchase not only follow us.
Investment:

Investment is the basic and the very first brick of any business. When I decided to start this business the most
important step for me was regarding making a good investment without losing the money in losses. Maybe it
was my entrepreneur skills that I have a good saving habit which helped me in establishing my business, rather
than taking loans or including partner in my newly establish business. I was lucky that my idea was effective
and less investment was needed.

My calculations estimated that 1000 rupees initial investment was required which was already available with
me from my saving. My teacher Ma’amSaamiya Hameed have taught us about the effectuation principle
earlier, from there I decided my plan will be based on keeping these principles in mind. I tried my best to start
with the resources available with me and so far I am successful with it as I have my skill or stitching that
helped me to save the major cost of hiring a tailor. Moreover all the raw material needed for designing and
stitching is available near my area in really cheap prices that helped me to save my transport cost as well and I
can fully rely on the vendors near my area. Availability of stock is not an issue for me. The most enthusiastic
feeling for me was when I realized that the principal "pilot in the plane" was fully implemented on my business
idea, it's only my idea it was my dream which I felt that it was completely made for me and this course Elm
provided me that strength, vision, and idea how to bring my business into existence.

Challenges:

 It is challenging to find vendors who provide best quality fabric in reasonable prices.
 Marketing our products: It was difficult to promote our products as I could not afford those marketing
communication channels that are costly then we searched for marketing communication channels for
example blogging, social media, and writing articles that were free of cost.
 Time Management: It was difficult for me to keep balance both my studies and my business.

Why Entrepreneurship:

4
Most people think entrepreneurs are primarily motivated by making money--for me, the twist on the story is
that I derive my business power from knowing that I am helping people save money
Before enrolling into this course, I was inclined towards Intrapreneurship. I have always wanted to work at
MNC (Multinational Company) but after attending just a few classes of Elm, I realized that becoming an
entrepreneur rather than an intrapreneur is more appealing to me. Our teacher, Ma’am Saamiya Hameed,
helped us understand the reasons that one might have for
becoming an entrepreneur. She told us that creativity does not fit Entrepreneurship
the corporate environment. Our life should not be bound to a 9:00
to 5:00 work life. Also, if you are passionate about something for The activity of setting up a
business or businesses, taking
which you also happen to have some ongoing ideas in your mind, on calculated financial risks in
you should never stop yourself from starting your own business the hope of profit.
Now I have realized that to work for someone is not the thing that The more modern I
am studying for. Graduation is for developing my entrepreneur entrepreneurship definition is
also about transforming the world
skills. This motivation and specially my honorable faculty Miss
by solving big problems. Like
Saamiya Hameed provided me this platform to start my own small initiating social change, creating
business and I hope the thought of building my own empire and an innovative product or
working for my own dreams can become a reality one day presenting a new life-changing
solution.

Intrapreneurship

Intrapreneurship is a relatively
  recent concept that focuses on
employees of a company that
have many of the attributes of
entrepreneurs.
