given and the student will form it to construct a words that is related to the topic. The student

will be ask randomly and will be given 10 seconds to form the jumbled letters.

Module 2 : The Stages of Development and Developmental Tasks

Strategy in Reporting: Participative Presentation, Using meme pictures so that the listeners

will not get bored.

“Developmental task arises at certain period in our life, the successful achievement of which

leads to happiness and success with later tasks while failure leads to unhappiness, social

disapproval, and difficulty with later tasks”. (Havighurst,1972).

Developmental Stages and some of their Developmental Tasks.

 Pre Natal Development – Conception occurs and Development begins

 Infancy & Toddlerhood – Starting to communicate verba lly.

 Early Childhood – Can briefly stand on one foot.


 Middle & Late Childhood – Acceptance by peers is very important.

 Adolescence – Puberty Occurs.

 Early Adulthood – Physical Development is complete.

 Middle Adulthood – Physical Changes begins to occur, Hearing & Vision decreased.

 Late Adulthood – Physical Deterioration occurs.

 Death & Dying – The time for Eternal Rest

Activity: Photo Essay

Make a Photo Essay in which you will choose on those Developmental stages discussed, and

photograph it in real life. You should also consider the Developmental Tasks in your photo.

Then make an essay with a minimum of 50 words.
