1) In the Windows Start menu, press and hold the Shift key on your keyboard and click the
Restart button.
2) In the selection windows that follow, choose Troubleshoot > Advanced Options > Startup
Settings and click the Restart button.
3) The computer will restart and presents a list of options. Press F7 on your keyboard to
select Disable driver signature enforcement.
4) Once the computer restarts, install the ECOM™ driver.
NOTE:
To re-enable Driver Signature Enforcement after temporarily disabling it, simply
restart your PC. Note that steps 1-3 above will need to be repeated at each subsequent
re-boot in order to re-establish ECOM™ and EDIS™ communication.

2) In the selection windows that follow, choose Troubleshoot > Advanced Options > UEFI
Firmware Settings and click the Restart button.
3) The computer will restart and present a menu of options. From the menu, select Secure
Boot, then Secure Boot Enable. Set it to Disabled, then select Apply, then Exit.
4) Once the computer restarts, launch the Command Prompt (select Run as Administrator).
5) In the Command Prompt window, enter bcdedit.exe /set nointegritychecks on and press
Enter.
6) Install the ECOM™ driver.
NOTE:
To re-enable Driver Signature Enforcement after permanently disabling it:
1) Launch the Command Prompt (select Run as Administrator).
2) In the Command Prompt window, enter bcdedit.exe /set nointegritychecks off and
press Enter.
3) In the Windows Start menu, press and hold the Shift key on your keyboard and click
the Restart button.
4) In the selection windows that follow, choose Troubleshoot > Advanced Options >
UEFI Firmware Settings and click the Restart button.
5) The computer will restart and present a menu of options. From the menu, select
Secure Boot, then Secure Boot Enable. Set it to Enabled, then select Apply, then Exit.
