Alert Indicator Panel

Left Turn Signal - Alert indicator (1) will

flash when the left turn signal is activated.

Secondary Steering - Alert indicator (2) will

light and an audible alarm will sound when
the secondary steering motor has pressure and
the secondary steering motor is functioning

properly. Immediately pull the machine to a

convenient stop. Stop the engine. Do not
operate the machine until the fault has been
corrected.

Use the secondary steering in order to steer the machine when the primary steering is not functioning.

Note: When you turn the engine start switch key to the ON position, the alert indicator for the secondary
steering will light for three seconds. Then, the alert indicator will go out. If the alert indicator for the secondary
steering does not light, investigate the cause. Do not operate the machine until the fault has been corrected.

Primary Steering Failure - Alert indicator

(3) will light and an audible alarm will sound
when the primary steering oil pressure is low.
Immediately pull the machine to a convenient
stop. Stop the engine. Do not operate the
machine until the fault has been corrected.

Note: When you turn the engine start switch key to the ON position, the alert indicator for the primary steering
will light for three seconds. If the alert indicator for the primary steering does not light, investigate the cause. Do
not operate the machine until the fault has been corrected.

Low Brake Oil Pressure - Alert

indicator (4) will light and an
audible alarm will sound when the
brake oil pressure is low. Stop the
machine immediately. Engage the
parking brake and stop the engine.
Do not operate the machine until
the fault has been corrected.

High Air Inlet Temperature - Alert

indicator (5) will light if the air inlet
temperature is above normal. Change
operating techniques or park the machine in
order to allow the air cooler to cool down. Do
not operate the machine until the fault has
been corrected.

Action Lamp - Alert indicator (6) will light

in order to inform the operator of a
malfunction in the operating system. Observe
the other alert indicatorsin order to find the
source of the fault.

Low Fuel Pressure - Alert indicator (7) will

light and an audible alarm will sound when
the fuel pressure is low. Refill as soon as
possible.

Parking Brake - Alert indicator (8) will light

and an audible alarm will sound when the
parking brake is engaged and the transmission

is put into forward or reverse. The alert

indicator should go out when the parking
brake is released.

Low Engine Oil Pressure - Alert indicator

(9) will light and an audible alarm will sound
when the engine oil pressure is low. Stop the
machine immediately. Do not operate the
machine until the fault has been corrected.

Bypass of Transmission Oil Filter - Alert

indicator (10) will flash when the
transmission oil filter is clogged. Stop the
machine immediately and engage the parking
brake. Do not operate the machine until the
fault has been corrected.

Electrical System - Alert indicator (11) will

light when there is a malfunction in the
electrical system.

If electrical loads (air conditioning and/or lighting) are high and the engine speed is near idle, increase the
engine speed to high idle. This will generate more output from the alternator. If the alert indicator for the
electrical system turns off within one minute, the electrical system is probably operating in a normal manner.
However, the electrical system may be overloaded during periods of low engine speeds.

Modify the operating cycle in order to prevent overloading the electrical system and discharging the batteries.

Low idle must be set correctly. Adjust for the high side of the Low Idle specification while the most often used
electrical loads are turned on. In order to reduce the loads, use the Medium fan speed instead of the High fan
speed. If this procedure does not cause the alert indicator to turn off, move to a convenient location. Do not
operate the machine until the fault has been corrected.

If the engine speed is near operating speeds and if the electrical loads are light, the alert indicator may remain
on. If the alert indicator remains on, move to a convenient location. Do not operate the machine until the fault
has been corrected.

Right Turn signal - Alert indicator (12) will

flash when the right turn signal is activated.

Turn Signal for Bucket - Alert

indicator (13) will flash when the
right turn signal or the left turn
signal is activated for the bucket.

- Alert indicator (14) will light when

the direction control switch is in the
NEUTRAL position. The alert
indicator will flash when the parking
brake is engaged with the direction
control switch in the FORWARD
position or in the REVERSE
position.

High Beam - Alert indicator (15)

will light when the working lights
are activated.

High Brake (axle) Oil Temperature - Alert

indicator (16) will light when the brake oil
temperature is excessive. Do not operate the
machine until the fault has been corrected.

Applied Ride Control - Alert indicator (17)

will light when the ride control is activated.

Starting Aid - Alert indicator (18) will light

when the starting aid is activated.

Coolant Temperature - Gauge (19) indicates

ground speed of the machine.

of fuel that remains in the fuel tank.
