❖ Introduce the synthesis essay. You have the remainder of the class period and all
period tomorrow to compose your s ynthesis essay. Consider referencing the
Synthesis Checklist and the S
ynthesis Rubric to guide your work. (Essay due

❖ If you finish early, you may continue to work on your research paper assignments.

❖ Literary Nonfiction WebQuest: Using the sources provided (Source 1; Source 2), as well as
any sources you find, populate the class Padlet (Vanbo Link; C randall Link) with subgenres
and characteristics of literary nonfiction. Be sure to include URLs for all information.
❖ Introduce I nto the Wild Text Purpose Timeline assignment. Remember to use the methods
of development resource as you work. Your timeline and constructed response are due
Friday, November 13th by 11:59 PM. Take some time to establish a schedule for completing
this work.
