HR PLAN

HR plans are smaller, "supporting" goals that are met within HRM plan guidelines to meet and
complete an overall HRM company plan. Tackling smaller objectives that are still within means of the
current long term plan, will ensure HRM plans are met.

As for HRM plans, these are long term companies HR plans or goals the company tries to achieve.
HRM goals are often accompanied by management that oversees the "production" of the company’s
goal, ensuring everyone is on track and completing goals.

HR plan as the specific activities carried out to achieve the strategic plan

HR plan may include short-term objectives that are tied to the overall strategic plan

 it is more detailed and more focused on the short term

Human Resource Planning is the estimation of future demand for and supply of
human resources for the accomplishment of stated organizational goals. HR
planning consists of all the activities of human resource management such as
forecasting of HR, collecting information, policymaking, recruitment, training and
development, motivation and development of human resource in the
organization

HR planning is about staffing the organisation. A reading of Mckenzy 7S would


help. It looks at structuring, recruiting, training them and keeping them
motivated and committed to deliver.

Human resource planning is the overall estimation of the


company's present and future human resource
requirements. This includes forecasting of HR,
recruitment, training and development etc. 

HR STRATEGIC PLAN

 Think of the HRM strategic plan as the major objectives the organization wants to achieve,

the strategic plan may include long-term goals,


Strategic planning is a step-by-step process of determining how to pursue the
organization's long-term goals with the resources expected to be available. It is a
systematic approach of analyzing the opportunities and threats in the
environment to enhance the efficiency and organizational productivity. It is the
name given to the sense-making activity which includes the function of goal
setting and strategy formulation.

Strategic planning is about bringing clarity to your plan to reach an objective in


different layers (strata). It helps to bring together all the specialists needed to
accomplish a mission. Component wise correction is possible or upgradation is
possible. When you can illustrate the plan in strata, all experts come on the same
page.

Strategic planning is a more detailed and step-by-step


strategy that is developed to achieve long-term objectives
of the organisation while utilizing and managing the
human resources of the company. This includes
implementing mechanisms for identifying and retaining
skills, determining, analyzing and monitoring career
aspirations of employees etc
