are their importance to our profession in seafaring and why?

In my succinct understanding, a radars have been playing a vital role in


ship navigation for several decades now, Radar were introduced and
effective use by ships assisting in collision avoidance and early detection of
obstacles. It can create tracks using radar contact it calculate the distance of
calculate object course, speed and closest point of approach.
Moreover, a radar is a radiation detector that can be used for the
detection and range of contacts and with the assistance of ARPA
regardless of time and weather conditions, it enables seafarers to save
a great deal of vital time from observing a target to using radar
plotting and calculations to locate the data. Therefore, collision
prevention and detection data is readily accessible to radar users in no
time, just by pressing on the target.
