Chapter 2

Charlotte has moved to London and Lady Susan is starting

piano and language lessons with her. Charlotte wanting to
forget Sidney was extremely hardworking, so she didn't
have to think about him anymore .... but .... Lady Susan made
sure that she was invited to exactly the same parties and
balls with Sidney setting him on fire and in great confusion.
Sidney was very much in love and couldn't resist her
thoughts. Every night he dreamed of her ... especially as
Charlott became more and more elegant and beautiful. The
young people were swarming around her ... but ..... her
fortune (money) is close to zero ... and unfortunately this
mattered in society. She had everything she needed,
dresses, shoes, carriages .... she thought it was all due to
Lady Susan .... but in fact it was the thoughts and money of
another lady: Lady Denham - released by Mrs. Babington
(with considerable wealth from her husband) ..... she
thought that no one could be more suitable for her than
Charlotte, because she was as intelligent, sincere and poor
as she had been in the past. This was only known to Lady
Susan for the time being......
