1.1. Steel hall

In the below example we present the usage of Robot CAD program in producing the drawings of steel
hall. The way of modeling the workframe, the sections, their edition and arrangement of the final
drawing has been presented step-by-step. The below drawing presents the axonometric view of the
hall

In course of the structure definition the following rules will be used:

 Presentation of any icon means clicking on this icon by left button of mouse,

 {x} means selecting the option ‘x’ from dialog box,

 d means inserting of ‘d’ text in the program command line and pressing Enter,

 LBM and RBM – shortcuts that mean respectively clicking the left button of mouse and the right
button of mouse.

In order to start session in Robot CAD (steel), press icon located on desktop or select
command RCAD – Steel from START menu. After a while AutoCAD© is launched, extended by the
options enabling the drawings production (extended menu, additional toolbar, dialog box Object
inspector etc.)
