1) “Leadership is the art of giving people a platform for spreading ideas that work.”
 The reason that I’m agree with this quote is, one of the good qualities of leader is give space
for his employers. Use their ideas and work with it.

2) “A leader is a dealer in hope.”


 Because employer’s future depends on the good leader. So, they workers work with that
hope.

3) “A company is stronger if it is bound by love rather than by fear”.


 Reason for that is, in a fear-based company, employees wonder whether they'll still have a
job next week. A great performance review or an on-the-job triumph does not guarantee
anyone another week of employment. People work under a cloud of fear and suspicion.
Managers are afraid to recognize and reinforce their teams, because they might get in
trouble for doing so. If it is not, in love-based company employees will speak clearly and
confidently. Listen quietly and compassionately.

4) “Become the kind of leader that people would follow voluntarily even if you had no title or
position.”
This proverb truly distinguishes between management and leadership in true sense. The
beauty of a Leader lies in the fact that a person does not need to formally have a title to
prove himself / herself a Leader. People follow leaders because of their approach and
qualities unlike a manager who must act according to the responsibilities and title given to
him / her.

5) “Trust is the essence of the leadership”.


 Trust is often cited by relationship experts as the key to a long-lasting and successful union.
But trust is also an essential ingredient in our workplace relationships, impacting employee
satisfaction, retention, and even productivity.

6) “Leaders should strive for authenticity over perfection.”


 Presenting leadership as a list of carefully defined qualities (like strategic, analytical, and
performance-oriented) no longer holds. Instead, true leadership stems from individuality
that is honestly and sometimes imperfectly expressed.

compensation as a carrier behind it, you almost don’t have to manage them.”
 It means we need to give space to our employees. It will help us to see their qualities. Then
we can delegate responsibilities among them. We don’t need to give attention to them
furthermore.

constructive that everyone wants to get to work and deal with them.”
 Because even if we face the difficult problem, we don’t need get stress. What we need to do
is work together in company. Find solution together. And work with it.

 Without good leader company will loss. Because employees get strength by looking at their
leader. they are bounded with each other. what management doing is control the whole
unit in company under the rules, policies, etc. we need to respect that rules and regulations.

emergency.”
 Good leaders always recognize the problem before it takes a serious look. And after they
can find solution without stress.

Quotes (Disagree with)

1) “Innovation distinguishes between a leader and a follower”.


 I don’t understand about how to effect innovation to distinguishes between leaders and
followers. Because sometimes employees have great ideas than the leader does.

2) "The aim of marketing is to reduce the need for selling”.


 Effective marketers understand and communicate how a product or service will meet the
needs of a customer. Do this well, then customers won’t need to be persuaded, and selling
becomes easy.

3) “Be a cause, not just a business. Have a higher mission".


 Brands must be more than merely businesses. They must represent something that inspires
us, by tapping into dreams, ambitions, and values.

4) “First get the right people on the bus, the wrong people off the bus, and the right people in
the right seats, and then figure out where to drive.”
 This quote doesn’t make any sense to me. Because the person who make this quote didn’t
mention the key point. There are several problems here. First, “how can you know the
characteristics of ‘the right people’ until you know where you’re going?” Another significant
problem is promoting the idea that leaders should focus on bringing in new talent and
pruning those who aren’t performing. Leaders should focus on development and do
everything they can to develop the team they have into high performers before they think
about replacing them.

5) “A cowardly leader is the most dangerous men. “Managers do things right. Leaders do the
right thing.”
 Leadership is not about a job title or role. There are lot of managers who are doing a great
job leading. The issue is the behavior, not the role: Management is about doing things right.
Leadership is about doing the right thing.

6) “Lead me, follow me, or get out of my way.”


 This might make sense in the heat of battle but fails as a general leadership principle.
Leadership is not about bulldozing. It requires engaging people and building understanding.

7) “Leadership is the art of getting someone else to do something you want done because he
wants to do it.”
 Leadership is not about manipulating people into doing what you want done. It’s not about
trying to get people to want what you want. It’s not about you. Leadership involves finding
out what people want and need and helping them get there.

 Motivating people to do their work might be what management is about, but it’s not about
leadership. Leadership is about going somewhere. Also, as noted above, good leadership is
not about “getting people to do something.”

 Your focus as a leader should be strategic, not tactical. When your primary focus is on
solving problems that people bring to you, you keep them dependent on you. Help them
learn to solve problems on their own and only elevate the strategic ones, or your time will
be consumed with fighting fires, and you won’t have time to lead them anywhere.

10) “My job is not to be easy on people. My job is to make them better.”
 This might make sense if you are a parent, but “tough love” and leadership are a dangerous
combination. If leaders think of themselves as parents, their team will act like dependent
children, not responsible adults. It’s not your job to be easy or tough on people or to grow
them up.
If you think that it s easy to sleet through ice but difficult to make a decision, then you have
come to the right place. The decisions we make decides the course of our life. Every day we
are hurled with numerous instances where we need to asses a situation, make a choice
between what is right and what is wrong, and take decisions. If you find it difficult to take
decisions in life, then these famous conclusion quotations and sayings should lift the burden
off your shoulder and make the action of choosing or deciding easier for you.

Management is the most noble of professions if it's practiced well. No other occupation offers as
many ways to help others learn and grow, take responsibility and be recognized for achievement, and
contribute to the success of a team.
