Logistics Management
A Transport Network is a communication channel, whether by land, sea or air,
through which a set of goods departs from an origin with a specific destination,
through a previously developed logistics process.

The aspects to be evaluated depend to a great extent on the type of market, the
country or countries, the product and the customs legislation ... in order to develop
the most appropriate network through this information.

A sustainable transport system is based on energy efficiency and the absence of

harmful effects for the environment and human beings. To achieve this goal,
according to the authors, it is necessary to optimize transport networks by planning
routes that save energy.

Currently, the global transport capacity reflects the economic power of a country,
since for its economic development it is not enough to have a large production, but
must also have the power to transport it to anywhere in the world to expand the
consumer markets. The means of transport must be effective,

In other words, they must be able to transport people and goods over short or long
distances, at the lowest cost and in the shortest possible time, so their
modernization must be permanent and, more importantly, they must have the
necessary infrastructure and networks to to reach any destination.

A transport network is basically a necessary infrastructure for the circulation of

vehicles that transport people or goods. They are usually arranged in the territory
connecting the population centers or industrial activity, in such a way that a
network of different density is created depending on the traffic generated in the
area. Normally, the densest networks are located around the places where several
axes are connected or serve as an interchange between different means of
transport (road-airport, rail-road, road-port, ...).

global Que abarca o hace referencia al mundo entero, como resultado
de la globalización.
infrastructur Conjunto de medios técnicos, servicios e instalaciones necesarios para
e el desarrollo de una actividad o para que un lugar pueda ser utilizado

centers Parte principal, fundamental o más importante de algo

network Organización formada por un conjunto de establecimientos de un
mismo ramo, y en ocasiones bajo una misma dirección, que se
distribuyen por varios lugares de una localidad o zona geográfica
para prestar un servicio.
routes Camino determinado que va de un sitio a otro
transport Llevar o trasladar a una persona o una cosa de un lugar a otro,
generalmente haciendo uso de un medio de transporte.
traffic Paso de vehículos, personas o mercancías por un lugar.
vehicle Aparato con o sin motor que se mueve sobre el suelo, en el agua o el
aire y sirve para transportar cosas o personas, especialmente el de
motor que circula por tierra.
