Why did you choose Mechanical Engineering?

Mechanical engineer has no limits to what they can see in

their career as they said.
At a young age, making life decisions, planning and
committing ourselves to the things that we love made me wonder.
When I was a kid, I used to love and watch the Japanese cartoon
called ‘Doraemon’, the show made me love those impossible
things or impossible futuristic devices, it made me believe that one
day, I would be inventing them. Despite my childish dream, I am
still determined to be among those inventors that could awe the
world using my imagination to create something impossible into a
possible one.
Growing up, I become more interesting to prototyping,
designing, and building machines. Seeing my cousin graduated
and then worked as an engineer, looking at him and admire how
he sees things in a way I wish makes me more comfortable
choosing this career. I used to say ‘I want to be like him’ I want to
see my world in a way like a mechanical engineer does. They used
to say that engineers need to be committed with their work. Even
though they need to dedicate most of the time handling projects, it
all comes back to passion and I believe I have the will to chase this
wonderful dream.
Despite of all those influences, I chose this career because
what a mechanical engineer does makes me happy and for me
this is very important thing to be considered in choosing a
profession in the future. I am in love and very happy with this
course, also I can’t see myself to anything except becoming a
mechanical engineer.
Where do you see yourself in the future after taking Mechanical
Engineering program?
A man with dreams is the man who wants to be a successful
person someday that’s why we never give up on our dreams
whatever happens.  I keep on dreaming for my future and actually
I have a lot of dreams that I want to achieve.
In the future, I want to see myself proceeding along a
successful journey of life. I want to possess a sense of pride that
many of my fellow compatriots do not possess, a stable job which
gives me a strong sense of achievement, three-month paid
vacation annually, a warm family life and a peaceful mind.
After all of this, I want to see myself beyond my expectation
today. Becoming better and better in my chosen profession and in
life. I want to be that one who is now helping, sharing knowledge,
making dreams come true for others, taking the lead as innovator
and the one who is living her dreams. Hence, I am looking
forward to my future self who made herself and parents proud. I
really want to arrive in a situation where I put all my learnings and
knowledge in to work where I can say that all my hard works and
efforts are paid off. Nevertheless, I believe that my decision is
correct.
