It was Sunday night, Rahul just had his dinner and was watching a new series in

Netflix with his family. He recently shifted to his new house in Mumbai with his
family consists of his retired father, his homemaker mother and a sister who is in
college doing her masters in economics.

Rahul was born in a middle class family in southern part of India, Kerala, In a
small town Kollam. His father was working in a national bank as an accountant and
retired couple of years ago. His mother is god fearing lady, a homemaker and his
sister has completed her bachelors in economy in Kollam. Rahul is been working in a
Multinational company in Mumbai. He is very down to earth person completed his
basic study in Kollam and then did his engineering from National Institute of
Technology, Suratkal (Karnataka) , as was good in studies since childhood. He got
gold medal award in his 10th standard by the state Government of Kerala.

After completing his engineering he wanted to pursue management but because of some
personal issues he couldn’t do that at that time. He, after completing his
engineering, joined a company in bangalore as got a job through campus. He worked
there for couple of years and then got selected in IIM Khozikhode. Later he got a
job in a big multinational company in Mumbai and hence shifted to Mumbai though his
family was in Kollam for few years as her sister was doing her bachelors there.

After his father got retired from bank job and his sister completed her bachelor,
everyone shifted to Mumbai as Rahul bought a new house in Mumbai and her sister
also got admission in Mumbai’s college.

Rahul is more like his mother, a god fearing guy and hence very much interested in
astrology. His grand father was a good astrologer in his home town, people used to
come to get advise from his grandfather. His grandfather was so famous that people
from other states also come to him to get their problem solved like children
education, daughters marriage, son’s job etc etc and his predictions was very
accurate. Due to him only Rahul was keen to know the “Jyotish Shastra”, it’s
logical reasoning etc.

Now because his father is retired and sister also grown up so the parents were very
much interested to get him marry so that they can focus on his sisters marriage and
later on would shift back to their home town as they wish to be close to their
siblings and roots in the last days of their life. They have been forcing Rahul for
the last number of years but Rahul was focusing on his career but now as he is well
settled and having his own house so they are more aggressively pushing him for the
marriage.

Somewhere in Rahul’s mind also it’s been lingering for quite some time as he also
wanted to share his feelings, his thoughts, his issues in profession to someone
very close to his heart. Due to all these circumstances he thought of going ahead.
He is been studying few books on astrology also for the last few months and
understand the basics of astrology through these books and thought that why not use
these old “Shastra’s” to have his soulmate like him!

He read books related to Vedic astrology (Brihat Parashar) and books like
Devakeralam which is basically in old Sanskrit manuscripts which were being
translated in English by a South Indian astrologer. He is fascinated towards the
“Jyotish Shastra” and sometimes think how would a box of 12 houses will tell the
entire story of anyone’s life? How would an astrologer tells you that when and whom
would u meet in your life being your life partner? He feels strange but then
realise that our “Rishi’s” have given us these Vedas and Shastras to take our life
in a better path for the betterment of the living beings and become close to GOD.

He is true believer in destiny and FreeWill. Though he believe in astrology but

also trust FreeWill as whatever he is today is because of these two things which
made him a good human being. He always think that Astrololgy isn’t the science of
just predicting but it has deep meaning of inner self, how to become a good human
and how to chose your path so that you can always be ready in prior to handle the
good or bad situations in life which are going to happen as per the destiny of the
life.

So, due to all these reasons he accepted the proposal of their parents and think of
searching his life partner for his successful, peaceful and healthy life. Though
his parents have seen some girls which were proposed by their friends and relatives
but Rahul wanted to see the girls based on their Rashi’s and Lagna so that he can
decide which girl is compatible based on their characteristics of the Rashi’s
