Material Properties

Alloy type = T5 Extrusion

Limiting Stress for Bending = 110 N/mm 2 (Data from Supplier)
Limiting stress for tension or compression = 150 N/mm 2
Limiting stress for shear = 85 N/mm 2

Imposed Loading

Wind Load shall be considered for the design of the screen.

The Building

The building is a 4 Storey Building with a lower ground floor level set at 0.00 m.

The wind load has been calculated for each building heights as per the table below:

Buiding Height Wind Load, q (kN/m2) Cp qs (kN/m2)

4 2.55 1.0 2.55

8 3.36 1.1 3.70

15 3.93 1.1 4.33
18.5 4.12 1.1 4.53
22 4.21 1.1 4.64

A typical wind loading has been provided for reference. Similar methodology has been used for the wind loading calculation at
each building height

Wind Loading from First to Second Floor 3.94 kPa Average

Wind Loading from Second to Third Floor 4.25 kPa Average

Wind Loading from Third to Fourth Floor 4.48 kPa Average

Wind Loading From Fourth to Roof 4.64 kPa Average

Most critical wind pressure shall be applied to the screen
