right? The Bible says in Romans
6:23 that the wages (payment) of
sin is death. The Bible says, "it is
appointed unto men once to die,
but after this the judgment."
(Hebrews 9:27) Here is a shocking
statistic. 10 out of 10 people will
die. Guarantee it, you will die one
day. It might be today or five years
from now.
You may be thinking, "I’m inno-
cent because God forgives and is
a God of love." Try that in a court
of law. Lets say you stole 5 cars
and the judge is about to pass
sentence. If you spoke up and
said, "Judge, I did steal those cars
and I feel sorry about that. Please
forgive me." Would the judge be
loving if he let you go? No. He
would be a corrupt judge. That's
exactly why God won’t let you go.
People are quick to say God is
Love. I don't disagree with that
fact. However, God is also Holy,
Righteous, and Just.
Remember it just takes one sin to
send you to Hell. If this concerns

So how can we know where we
will spend eternity when we die?
Jesus Christ Himself made it plain.
"the time is fulfilled, and the king-
dom of God is at hand: repent ye,
and believe the gospel" (Mark
1:15). If you read through the gos-
pels, the message of Jesus is clear.
Repent and trust in His sacrifice.
This is reiterated throughout the
New Testament.
What does REPENT mean? It
DOES NOT mean you have to do
good stuff to get saved. That
would be a work and to trust in a
work (such as baptism, church
attendance, helping people) to
get you to heaven is equivalent to
saying, "Jesus didn't need to die
on the cross because I can get to
heaven on my own." To repent
means to see the things in your
life that you know are wrong, real-
ize that each one of those is
wicked in God's sight, and ask for
forgiveness from God with the
intention of never dilberately
sinning again.
So what did God do so you don’t
have to spend eternity in Hell?
God sent his only Son to die on a
cross as payment for your sin
(Romans 5:8). Every man will die,
so what makes God’s son Jesus, so
special? He lived a perfect and
sinless life, and He was the only
acceptable sacrifice for our sins.
Does that mean we never sin
again? Of course not. We are
human and stumble into sin
because we are weak by nature.
However, when we repent and
trust in Christ, we are born again.
We become a new creature (II Cor-
inthians 5:17) that sees sin in its
true light. Basically, we may
stumble into sin, but we do not
dive into it.
So, you have an important deci-
sion to make. Do you want ever-
lasting life through repentance
and faith in Jesus Christ or do you
want your sins. You can’t take a
little from column A and column
B. Either you decide to reject sin
or reject Christ. Sometimes
people try to label it differently so
they can ease their conscience.
Some call it "I'm putting off Christ
until later" or "I'm not ready".
However, if you are really honest
with yourself, those are just pretty
words for, "I reject Christ." That is
serious business.
Please do not try to convince
yourself that you are ok and you'll
do this thing later. If you ignore
God knocking at your hearts door
long enough, the Bible says there
will come a time when He may
not knock again. I beg you to
please consider these things and
