Question 1: Do you think that human resource management plays critical role for
organizational success? Why or why not?
Answer: Yes, we think human resource management (HRM) plays critical role for
organizational success. It is because the HRM function links to the operating of management.
It provides support to each department managers and deal HR matters such as coordinates
hiring and training. HRM fulfils a traditional staff role and acts in an advisory capacity. HRM
like a liaison between government, employee and company management.

Question 2:
You are required to provide two examples regarding why HRM is important for all managers.
Answer: HRM is important for all managers. For example, HRM is important to accounting
manager, because of utilizing budgets for maximum benefit. HRM need to utilize the costs
efficiently such as training employee fees or employees salary. Also, HRM is important for
public relationship manager. A good employees’ welfare such as salary and working
environment is designed by the HRM department. Having a good welfare is important for an
employee due to it can fulfil employee satisfaction. It can incentive employees to work hard
and bring a lot of outstanding performance to the company. It is helpful for public
relationship manager to maintain the company situation when it has stellar reputation.

Question 3:
Human resource management refers to the “management of people at work”. Justify the
statement in terms of your agreement or disagreement.
Answer: We agree this statement. It is because the statement of management of people at
work could be describe widely. HRM need to accomplish the needs of the individual,
organization, society and achieve the balance of each parties. Employees needs need to be
fulfilled by the HRM through a good reward and punishment system. When employees feel
satisfied, they will work hard for organization and having an outstanding performance. HRM
also deal with the resource of materials company use, they need to appropriately use the
natural resources in order to avoid accusing of public such as lack of environmental
protection awareness.

Question 4:
Please discuss who is responsible for HRM activates in an organization. Provide at least one
practical scenario or example.
Answer: Line manager, HR generalist and HR specialist are responsible for HRM activities.
There are a lot of differences in managing the aspect of paying salary from line manager and
HR generalist. Line manager will attend he discussion of payroll management scheme or
provide the suggestion of employee’ welfare. HR generalist or specialist will decide and
evaluate which payroll management scheme would be adopted.
Question 5:
How a man/human is important factor for the effective functionality of the organization?
Answer must be supported with reasoning.
Answer: Man is the most important factor for the effective functionality of the organization
due to human can control the overall operating situations. A man can make the best use of
machinery, money and optimum use of material by choosing appropriate method. A wisdom
people in an organization can be termed as organization asset in which he/ she is. And also he
or she can maximize his or her value to organization.
