Do you believe the cost of university needs to be lowered? Yes, I believe that the cost of private college and
university needs to be lowered, which is why I support scholarship and education opportunities.

Do you believe public health is a priority? I do believe public health is a public priority, which is why I support
organizations like the American Heart Association, YMCA campaigns, and Pierce County food banks.

Do you believe that there should be more career opportunities for veterans? Yes, I do, which is why supported a
rule that allowed military lawyers to be licensed to represent low income service members in Washington.

Do you support equal justice for all? I do support equal justice for all, which is why I served as a co-chair of the
Washington State Minority and Justice Commission for 24 years and the 2004 Task Force on Civil Equal Justice
Funding.
