WEEK 1 OF CLASS

In our first week in class, my professor discussed the introduction of zoology. I learned about
the historical background, the principal divisions, and the importance of zoology. I realized that
zoology is not just the study of animals this has a great context and meanings. In the end, you'll
understand why zoology is important to us because you will learn how to appreciate animals and
nature.

WEEK 2 OF CLASS

In our second week in class, my professor discussed the structures of call and their functions
and the cell cycle and divisions. I learned a lot of things in these modules, like what are the
structures of cells, the different cell types, stages of the cell cycle, and such. I realized that there
is too much going on cells. I appreciate the fact that this is important to learn because you will
know the process, functions, and significance of each topic.

WEEK 3 OF CLASS
In our third week in class, my professor discussed the genetic material and inheritance patterns
of animals. I learned the process of DNA replication, types of genetic material also what are the
differences in the Median laws of inheritance. It is worth it to learn this topic because you will
understand the process and differences. I realized that this is important to study because it
explains a lot of things like DNA and genes can determine certain traits, heredity passed from
parents to the offspring and such.
