Re: Foreign Interference in U.S. Elections

Dear Director Ratcliffe and Director Wray:

During your briefing last evening concerning Russian and Iranian influence in the
federal election, Director Wray invited the public to submit additional information of foreign
intervention in U.S. elections to the FBI.

We writing on behalf of our client Gun Owners of America, Inc. to submit information
about such a threat — presented by the French Government working with Facebook through a
semi-public company, AFP Fact Check.

Facebook has entered into an agreement to empower a French government-controlled

company, AFP Fact Check, to make critical editorial decisions which have suppressed the
distribution of information to the public demonstrating the anti-gun views of Vice Presidential
Nominee Kamala Harris prior to the November 2020 general election by our client Gun
Owners of America.

The details of this French suppression of political speech, in violation of federal law,
are contained in a complaint which Gun Owners of America filed with the Federal Election
Commission on October 6, 2020, a copy of which is attached.

This complaint is pending in the FEC’s enforcement division, but such investigations
typically take a great deal of time. Therefore, we urge your offices to investigate this evidence
of French criminal influence in U.S. elections.
