CORRECTIVE NOTICE

Published by order of the Federal Court of Australia

Misleading or deceptive conduct by Singtel Optus Pty Limited

Dear Mr Jennings,

The Federal C ourt has found that Optus has engaged in misleading or deceptive
conduct through its THINK BIGGER & SUPERSONIC advertising campaign for
internet broadband plans. This follows legal action taken by the Australian
C ompetition & C onsumer C ommission.

The THINK BIGGER & SUPERSONIC advertising campaign ran from 25 April 2010
until 30 September 2010. A consumer may have formed the view that on the plans
they could access internet broadband over peak and off-peak time periods.
However, the offer was subject to further conditions that were not sufficiently or
clearly disclosed.

Specifically, once the monthly peak period data had been exceeded, the
customer's speed would be limited to 64kbps for the remaining unused off-peak
data. This was not clear. As a consequence of this limitation you may not have
been able to use all the off-peak period data allowance within the monthly period.

It was not our intention to mislead you. In order to ensure that you understand the
position the details of your plan are set out below.

You are currently on the Optus 120GB with the following features:

50GB Peak data which you can use between 12 midday and 12 midnight
AEST/ADST and up to 70GB Off Peak data which you can use between 12
midnight and 12 midday AEST/ADST

When you exceed your peak or total data allowance, you are
limited to speeds of 64kbps for both peak and off peak until the
end of your billing month. Once you reach your off peak data
allowance any further off peak use will be deducted from your
peak data allowance.

You can monitor your peak and off peak usage via our Internet Usage
