for the Preliminary Rounds shall be as follows:

Top-16 teams on the basis of their aggregate scores in the Preliminary Round

irrespective of their court halls shall proceed to the Knockout Rounds. In total, 16

Teams shall be competing in the Knockouts.

The fixtures for the Knockout Rounds shall be on the basis of power match-up, i.e.

the team with the highest score in the Preliminary Rounds shall be paired with the

team with the lowest score in the Preliminary Rounds and likewise.

2 Rank 2 v Rank 15

3 Rank 3 v Rank 14

4 Rank 4 v Rank 13

5 Rank 5 v Rank 12

6 Rank 6 v Rank 11

7 Rank 7 v Rank 10

8 Rank 8 v Rank 9

The team scoring more in each Court Hall shall proceed to the Quarter Final Rounds.

In total, 8 Teams shall be competing in the Quarter Finals.

The fixtures for the Quarter Final Rounds shall be on the basis of power match-

up, i.e. the team with the highest score in the Knockout Rounds shall be paired with

the team with the lowest score in the Knockout Rounds and likewise.

total, 4 Teams shall be competing in the Semi Finals.

The fixtures for the Semi Final Rounds shall be on the basis of power match-up, i.e.

the team with the highest score in the Quarter Final Rounds shall be paired with the

team with the lowest score in the Quarter Final Rounds and likewise.

COURT HALL FIXTURES

1 Rank 1 v Rank 4

2 Rank 2 v Rank 3

The team scoring more in each Court Hall shall proceed to the Final Round. In total, 2

Teams shall be competing in the Finals.

1. The Team(s) with the highest aggregate score in each round irrespective of their
court halls shall be declared ‘Best Negotiating Team’ for that particular round.
2. The Advocate/Counsel with the highest individual score in each round
irrespective of their court halls shall be declared ‘Best Advocate’ for that
particular round.
3. The Client with the highest individual score in each round irrespective of their
court halls shall be declared ‘Best Client’ for that particular round.
4. In case of a tie, the rule as mentioned for tie-breaker in the brochure shall be
applicable.
