1. As per Memorandum from the President, the deadline of submission of student
requirements is June 15, 2020. But I encourage you to submit your requirements earlier so that your Instructors will have more time to check them objectively. Requirements submitted after the deadline will no longer be honored, thus, a student will be given an INC grade which he/she can complete the following semester. 2. Your Instructors are also instructed to submit their grading sheets for the Second Semester AY 2019-2020 on or before June 30 at the Registrar’s Office. 3. Report of Rating will be issued starting July 6 depending on the availability of grades (there are some teachers especially those teaching GE subjects who submit grades late). 4. Your Class Adviser will prepare your Report of Rating. If you are a scholar, inform your adviser in advance so he/she will prepare the form ahead of time. 5. The BSMLS program will not accept transferees (from other schools) and shifters (from other colleges) due to limited affiliating hospitals/agencies. Related to this, the program will limit the BSMLS I to two sections only. 6. For this academic year, UNP has decided to forego with the UNP CAT as one of the entrance requirements. In lieu of this, the grade point average in senior high school will be a major basis for admission. For BSMLS, the applicant should have a gen average of 85 and above with high grades in science and math (85 and above also). If you have friends who wish to be admitted in the program, dapat with very good and very pleasing personality sila plus a good command in English. Yung mga pangit pangit ay sa ibang program na lang. Hehehehehe 7. Those who are planning to transfer or to shift to other courses, pls. inform your adviser so she/he will prepare your documents. With open arms, I will permit you to do so. 8. We have a new addition to the BSMLS teaching force in the person of Dr. Carmela Florentino, a graduate of BSMT from UST. She was the former Director of the Dept. of Natural Sciences and Mathematics in UNP. She will be handling Biochemistry classes to give you a good foundation for your professional subjects. 9. Likewise, we will hire new Faculty to handle your BSMLS core subjects. 10. Enrolment schedule for the first semester will be posted later. Classes will start in September. 11. Keep safe everyone. I miss you all!
