4.REPORT FOR SAFETY AT WORK

In accordance to the act on Safety at Work safety at work is assured where workers implement
safety measures, comply to norms, standards and technical regulations and with adequate care,
adequate specialist and work training apply the prescribed safety devices and appliances. The
device, made in accordance to valid standards and norms, must be fitted with instructions for safe
work, testing and maintenance.

Intended use
The gaming machine – Alfastreet WIKY is used as gaming machine or amusement machine in
entertainment and gaming establishments.

Description
The gaming machine – Alfastreet WIKY is comprised of:
• a housing
• playing position with touch screen LCD monitors
• computer system for managing the machine
• electrical installation with control system

The gaming machine WIKY is equipped with a computer managed control system that completely
manages the machine independent of the players. The system is completely closed within the
device's housing. The machine runs for so long as it is not stopped with the main switch.

Dangers and injuries possible in running the device:

• The device is not firmly fixed.
• The device is not installed in the correct position.
• Danger of falling.
• Danger from electric current.
• Unintentional or automatic switching on.

Measures for preventing dangers and injuries when the machine is running:
• It is necessary to firmly fix the device to a concrete floor with anchor screws such
• that the device cannot overturn or move during use.
• The device must be installed such that sufficient space is allowed for players to move about
and safe passage past the device must be assured.
• The floor around the device must always be kept clean and not slippery such that it is not
possible for a user of the device to fall on wet or slippery floor.
• Electrical connections can only be made by service staff authorized by the manufacturer or
specialist trained persons according to the enclosed diagram.
• The on/off switch must be protected against unintended switching on.

5.GENERAL CONDITIONS FOR USE

Device conditions and documentation
The device must be faultless and with all necessary technical documentation. It must always be in
a faultless state that enables safe use. In accordance with legislation on safety at work, the device
must be periodically inspected for possible damage or non proper functionality. Possible damaged
parts can be considered dangerous for players and must be immediately replaced with new one. A
record of inspections should be kept in supervisors office.

The device supervisor must:

• have adequate specialist education for this work
• must be aware of safety at work with means for work and have passed an examination in
knowledge of safety at work
• he must be given a copy of instructions for safe work
• he must have adequate health for administering the device (medical certificate)
• new personnel and workers not trained for safe work on the device are forbidden such
work
• the work on the device AT OWN RISK is forbidden
• he must have adequate protective clothing and equipment for personal safety at work

Dangers in administration
• danger of falling
• danger of electric current shock

6.INSTRUCTIONS FOR SAFE WORK

Before the start of work the following must be checked:
• protective doors are correctly fixed and locked
• power switch is correctly functioning
• electrical installation is not damaged and free off all defects
• surroundings of the device are clean and not slippery

During the operation

All doors must be closed and locked.

After finishing work

After finishing work the administrator must switch off the device.

Special instructions
The administrator must take care that users do not place drink, cigarettes or other objects and
liquids on the device. The ADMINISTRATOR MUST PROVIDE a depositing surface by the device.

7.ELECTRICAL CONNECTION
Alfastreet WIKY gaming machine must be properly connected to a grounded wall socket to supply
voltage with cord provided by Alfastreet and schuko power connector (EEC 7/4) or equivalent
power connector with a ground wire.
Before the power cord is connected to supply voltage, cord must be inspected for possible
damage. Damaged cord can cause electrical shock or improper functioning of the gaming machine.

8.CLEANING MAINTENANCE

Cleaning must only be preformed with the Main Power Switch turned OFF.

It is suggested that a regular cleaning schedule be maintained for the following parts of the
machine:
Outside Surfaces
All outside surfaces should be inspected and if necessary cleaned every day, using mild detergents
and damp cloth.
In any case, for cleaning do not use:
• Wire or nylon wool scouring brooms
• Furniture polishes
• Alcohol based polishes
• Powder or liquid abrasive cleaners
• Bleach or strong detergents

9.PREVENTIVE ACTIONS
All of the computers in Alfastreet WIKY machine must be preventive restarted at least every
three weeks. This is due to proper functioning of the machine.

Alfastreet recommends replacing all data storage devices in WIKY every 5 years to ensure smooth
operation over longer periods of time.
